Abandoned [Unfinished]

In the beginning...

I would just like to put this out there, this story was created by me, however some of the ideas behind it were inspired by other things, be it TV, Books or word of mouth so you may have seen some of these ideas before. Also feel free to point out spelling and grammar mistakes as I probably missed a lot of them, I won't judge or be offended I promise, I will take it on board unless it is just hate messages.

...there was nothing. And there was everything. and in the middle of that nothing-everything was a single shard. a shard that held the keys. the keys to the end. that shard lay there, purple in its nature, and purple would become known to its discoverers.

Purple.

this one tiny shard was the way out for all of humanity, but was never meant to exist.

a tear in the fabric of space, letting a single tear from an artificial being, also meant to never meant to exist, crystallized into a single crystal.

436,117,079,755,695,200 seconds later, humans had colonized, taken advantage of, and almost destroyed, the planet earth, and it's sister planet SCB934. resources were thinning. And through it all, 5 children slept.

Then the countdown began.

Time stretched on...

15,778,476 seconds remaining.

..And on...

7,889,238 seconds remaining.
