"Ah, it's so good to be back in Tokyo!" You stretch your arms up past your head as you exit the train. You are about to walk up stairs to get to the upper streets when your back cracks. "Ow, ouchie. Gosh, that definitely wasn't the most comfortable ride either." (A/N Heh. Bet you thought you broke your back or something didn't ya?)

You slowly make your way up the rest of the stairs as the noise of bustling people and cars surrounds your head. "Heh, just like America, always lit and lively."

That's right, you are from America, but you went to Japan several times in your life. You've visited Japan before but no where in Tokyo. You could speak Japanese and 4 other languages including French, English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish.

You've haven't been in Japan for a long time up until now which is the soon to be, beginning of freshman year at Seirin High. Over most of the summer you were in America with your parents, there is still about a month left till it is over so it is still quite warm in Japan.

Anyways, back to reality. You were in such deep thought that you didn't even realize that with each step you took, going deeper into Tokyo, it was also getting darker. "Shit, I didn't even realize how dark it was."

You start running to your recently bought apartment when you had passed a basketball court. You hadn't played in a long time, and somebody was already playing, so your first thought to ask to play a 1 on 1. With a strange man? Why not, you played all the time in America. Street Ball and professional basketball, and you were very good at it.

You entered the gates, the street lights illuminating the court. "Excuse me, want to go one on one?" The man huffed and turned around. "Am I hearing right? A girl wants to play a game of Basketba-" Wait, why does this guy sound familiar?

"(Y/N)?"

"Taiga?

"Wow, it's been quite awhile now. How have you been?"

"Mm, I've been well. And you?"

"Good, good."

"Well that's nice to hear. I also got word that Alexandra came to Tokyo, have you heard from her?"

"Ha, oh yeah, she's my trainer while she is here."

"So, your still training so that must mean you are doing basketball still?"

"Yes, sure am. Still up for that one on one?"

"I would never give up an opportunity like this to be with an old friend!"

*time skipuuu*

Kagami ended up winning by 3 points, and god, has he gotten better. Not to mention more attractive and muscular.

"Oh you think so?"

"Wha-what? Did you hear that?" A crimson blush flooded your face.

Kagami let out a small chuckle.
" You've also gotten... Erm.... well.... a lot prettier and...bigger." His eyes widened at shock of what he had said.

You look at him with a disgusted face, trying not to smile.

"Woah! Wait I'm sorry, that was way too forward of m-"

And that's when you cracked. You completely burst into a fit laughter.
"Oh Bakagami, your still adorable as always."

He hung his head low, even though his incredibly red face wasn't doing him much luck.
He then quickly took your arm and ran, which in case you didn't know, was very hard to catch up and stay at his pace. Yet he keeps a firm hold on your arm and continues to pull you along

Soon enough, after about 10 minutes of running through Tokyo you come to a stop in front of Maji Burger.

"Take this as payment for my win, and a miniature first date, yeah?" He smiles and winks. You smile back and nod, pulling him in side.

*time skipuuu*

Both you and Kagami exit Maji into the streets of late night Tokyo.
"I'll take you home if you'd like."

He looks down at you, slinging an arm around your shoulder and shaking his hand through your hair. You giggle and give him a light punch in his arm. Damn his biceps were as hard as rock.

"Okay, it couldn't hurt."

You both walk back to your place, catching up on some more things, and end up in front of your house. He walks you up your steps and is about to say his goodbyes when he pauses and looks towards the street.

"Listen, (Y/N). Do you remember that promise we had made when we were younger? I've still kept that promise and was wonderi-"

You didn't let him finish his sentence as you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. His lips were light and tasted like strawberry milkshake. And as cliche as it sounds, you honestly thought that the world around you had stopped, like you two were the only people there. But that all ended when your conscience told you to pull away.

"I love you Taiga."
You smiled, waving as you shut the house door behind you.

As you get back to reality, you quietly look outside one of your windows to see if Kagami had left when you see him dancing on the porch. Gosh, he was such a dork, but that's why you loved him.

"I'm happy you kept your promise Taiga, and especially your first kiss."
