"Bill did you find my red cardigan? I thought it was in the dryer." "Yeah I hung it up behind the door." You walking over to the door hastily and put on the cardigan. Looking in the mirror admiring the beautifully crafted outfit you made. *** "You look beautiful darling now stop checking yourself out before you fall in," Bill chimes from the bathroom. "You're one to talk," you tease, "I'll meet you outside in the car." Grabbing the keys from off the counter you unlock your navy blue bmw and pull out of the garage. Bill is standing with a blanket outside chatting up the doorman. *** You roll your eyes, it's so annoying how easily he can talk to total strangers. Friendly ass Sasquatch.

"Why don't you let me drive?" Bill asks. "Because you got into an accident last may and another one not too long after that." You turn into the street headed to the park. "Oh my god that one in may wasn't my fault. The one after..." he trails off knowing he's guilty. "Mm yeah that's what I thought," you both laugh. "Do you think there'll be a lot of people there tonight?", he asks. "I mean it is pretty cold so I don't expect a big turn out." You both make small talk on the short trip to the corner store for some snacks.

Before you can fully stop in the parking lot, Bill jumps out. "I'll get it." "You don't know what I want!" You shout out the window. "I know you well enough," he reply's. The cold air whips through the open window and you roll it up quickly turning on the heat as high as mechanically possible. Under two minutes Bill opens the door with a big goofy smile on his face. His infectious smile spreads to you and you look at him in surprise. "What is it?," you ask. "Nothing I just really think you'll like what I got," he says. "Oh- kay." You riffle through the bag pulling out Oreos and salt and vinegar chips and sour patch kids. "I have the thermos of hot chocolate in the back too," he says unpacking the snacks and putting them in the lunch box. "Look at you, Mrs. Harriet Homemaker." "What can I say, I'm a gem and you'd suffer without me," he teases with an over dramatic southern accent. You pull out of the lot and head to the park only 20 mins away.

Walking up the mound you see blankets spread out with families and couples in front of the big white screen. He spots two large boulders towards the back. "Let's sit over there so we don't bother anyone." "Why? I don't mind being in the mix." "I wanted to spare your feelings but I meant so you don't bother anyone," he says with a fake wincing face. "Me?! I'm a great movie partner, just because I like to voice my opinions doesn't mean I'm a bother." "Oh I love your opinions but I think the rest of the crowd might enjoy the film more," Bill reply's. "Ugh fine." You lay down the blanket in front onto the boulders and set up your evening picnic. "What movie is this again?" "The most warm and comforting movie known to fall enthusiasts, 'Practical Magic'," you reply with a cheery smile.

As you both get comfortable you listen to the hosts of the movie ask for phones to be silent and no funny business. "Is this funny business mommy?" A chubby toddler gets up and dances around his mom pulling the corners of his mouth wide. "Cory sit down, you silly Willy!" His mom grabs him and hugs him tight on her lap. "Why don't you do that to me?," you ask innocently with a small frown. "You want me to call you silly Willy?" He asks with a quizzical brow. "Ha no I mean hug me like that like an embrace." "I embrace you, I could embrace you right now but I don't think that would be appropriate given our audience. But you can sit in my lap," he says. "Works for me!" You walk around and pop a squat in front of him between his legs. He puts his arms around you and pulls the blanket up further. "Is this a good enough embrace for you?" "Yes thank you," you reply with a fake curt tone. The opening credits roll as the movies starts and the crowd settles.

Bill's body radiates a supernatural heat and makes you sort of dehydrated. You go to grab your water bottle from the box but you don't see it. Only your half eaten snacks and the thermos of hot chocolate. "Shit I forgot my water bottle," You mutter. "I can get you one from concessions?" "Would you mind?," you ask. "No, no problem I had to go to the bathroom anyway. I'll be back in 5."

After waiting for around 15 minutes you wondered what was keeping Bill. Getting up you walk over to the make-shift concession stand and see a group of girls around Bill. "I loved you in IT, I was so scared." "Even in that costume I thought you were so hot." "You know I want to be an actor too?" "Can I get a pic?""Oh yeah me too?!" They herd together like hyenas. "Thank you that's very kind and not right now maybe after, but I should get back to the movie," he says as politely as possible. Nervously chuckling. "Hey did you get my water?" You ask walking up to the group. "Uh yeah here." He says passing it to you then grabbing your hand. "Oh." One of the girls says. "Sorry, we didn't know you were in a date." "Who even is she?," says a couple more. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, how rude of me. I'm y/n and Billy here is my boyfriend. You say holding up your intertwined hands. "Right, sorry." Says the front girl. "Enjoy the movie," you say with a sweet smile pulling Bill away from the group. "Thank you!" He says with a breath of relief. You shake your head at him with a light laugh. "You're such a wuss." Bill stops in his tracks with his mouth ajar. "How dare you? I was ambushed. It was one girl then a whole fleet when I came out the bathroom." "Oh suuure." He scoffs following you to your spot.

Sitting down in the same position he starts to play with your hair. Wrapping the curl loosely around his fingers. You look up at him and give a light peck on his cheek. "Oh come one you gotta give me more than that." "Nope not right now", you reply. He lightly traces your face with his thumb lifting your head up to stare into his wide green eyes. Craning his neck down at you lightly brushing his lips teasingly against your own. His breath smells of sugar and chocolate. The heat radiating off the closeness is making you dizzy with desire. You push your eyebrows up silently begging. "Yes?" He whispers. Your core heats from the tension your lip begins to quiver. "Eh maybe later," he says lifting his head back up before you can sneak a kiss. Feeling so sickeningly turned on you let out a taught groan. "You brat, you mumble. "Aww poor baby," he mocks going back to playing with your hair. The movie goes on as you two watch Sandra Bullock flip through the pages of the phone tree.
