~Mine pt.2~

"Well my little mate are you going to say something?" Ember says looking a little confused. I look up into his eyes and wonder why I have ever doubted having a mate. I have never felt so complete in my life.

It's a lot to take in though. I always wanted to explore the world by myself. I never wanted a mate because I thought they would only hold me back. I didn't want to belong to someone. I didn't want be treated like property.

"Look, I know that we're mates and all but I need some space for a minuet," I say taking a step back out of his comforting embrace.

He reluctantly nods and watches me with a confused look. Why is he confused? I'm the one who needs to figure all this out.

'We finally have are mate! Why do you want distance from him, he needs are touch!?' Nala asks annoyed.

'I don't really know. I just need to absorb all this in. I didn't think that I would find my mate. But now that I met him, I'm actually really happy and that's what worries me.' I respond truthfully.

"Do you know who I am?" He ask slowly bringing me out of my daze.

What does he mean? I look up at his face more closely and begin to realize that he looked some what familiar, like I've seen him before. I know he's a Alpha but Ive only met a couple in my life.

"You look a little familiar but I'm a little tipsy so everything is kinda confusing at the moment," I say rubbing my throbbing temples.

"Ok, I guess we will talk about it more tomorrow. I believe it will be best to get you home now. You have a powerful radiance to you. Do you come from a Alpha or Beta?" He asks taking my hand sending tingles up my arm and guides me to the parking lot.

"My parents are Alpha Dale and Luna Kathy. I need to tell my friend Delilah that I'm leaving," He nods and gestures to two large men.

"This is Dom and Gary. Dom is my beta and Gary is my best warrior. They will tell your friend that you have left," He says giving them a nod.

I offer them my hand but Ember quickly takes my out stretched hand and leads me to his car. I give them a apologetic look and glace toward a angry looking Ember. What the fuck did I do?

"Why didn't you let me shake their hands? I wanted to introduce my self," I scowl at him when he puts me into his black Lamborghini and buckles me in.

"I have gave them orders to not touch or talk to you until I explain everything to you. I know it's confusing but I just want you to know that I'm not being a ass," He says pulling out of the lot.

"Ugh, just get me home. I'm tired and cranky and I just want to sleep. I also need some tylenol," I say laying my head back against the cool leather seat.

Ember looks over at me and takes my hand in his placing it into his lap. I look over at him and see his smirk.

"What?" I ask feeling a little irritated and irked.

"Nothing, I just think it's funny when your being bitchy. It's actually a big turn on," He says looking over at me and winks.

He did not just say that. I groan and look out the window at the forest speeding past us.

I wake up to find I'm snuggled against a hard chest. I look up and see Ember asleep. He's even more adorable looking when he's relaxed. This is my first day waking up in my mates arms and I have never been so relaxed.

Last night when we got to my house, I insisted to stay the night here and talk to my parents on the phone tomorrow. They would be so thrilled.

Ember and I had feel asleep as soon as we cuddled into my bed, after we had showered (separately of course!) and I had took tylenol for my blazing headache.

I suddenly remember Steve and wonder what happened to him.... Hopefully he didn't pass out somewhere and get discovered.

When werewolf's are unconscious, they form into their wolf. So if Steve passed out near the side of the street and he phased, the whole secret of are lives could be exposed and he would get kicked out of the pack.

"Good morning beautiful," Ember whispers huskily bringing me back to reality.

"Morning," I reply sheepishly and smiles when he kissed my nose sending tingles up my spine.

"We have lots to do today. I want you to know everything about who I am and where I come from. And I don't want you to be scared," He says getting out of bed shirtless and heads to the bathroom.

"Um ok... I'm pretty sure I can handle it, what ever it is," I say confidently and get up to get dress myself, not wanting to get caught admiring his muscled chest.

I pick out some light wash jean shorts and a light blue tee. I add some stud earrings and my bracelet I got from Delilah on my 17th birthday. Oh shit Delilah!

I run over to my bedside table and grab my phone off charge. I dial her number and she answers it on the second ring.

"Rosie! I can't believe your mate is Ember Coles the most respected and powerful Alpha in basically all the world! Why didn't you tell me last night! We could have-" I stopped her right then in there.

"Wait what are you talking about?! There is no way that's him!" I say and then I realize it.

That's why I thought he looked familiar. I was drunk last night so I didn't even realize who he was or the fact that everybody there was staring at us. I'm such a damn fool! Oh my Goddess...

I'm mates with the most powerful and dangerous Alpha in the world.
