Nothing has happened yet. The clock's ticking.
It's a calm day in Ukhudor. The wind's calm. There are children playing with the animals. Farmers are selling their vegetables and such at the local market. Everything is peaceful, and everyone is happy. Luca thinks to himself while watching his Kingdom. He's smiling, and he feels happy with himself. He's kept the people feeling calm, even during the threat they're currently facing. As Luca looks outside from the tower, he is greeted with the reality of what he has planned for today. His smile faded, but he's staying determined. At least trying to.
As he walks down from the tower, he sees his dad. "Morning, father. I'm going to see Ilya today, and we're gonna visit Ethyr together." He doesn't like visiting the rival Kingdom. it makes him anxious. Ethyr has recently been bombing parts of Ukhudor, as a warning. They want the walls of Ukhudor to be destroyed. Luca has no idea why. They've been built long ago. It's mostly for the animals to be safe, so why should they be torn down? "Morning, my little prince." Lucas attention snaps back to his dad. "Are you sure you wanna go to Ethyr? You know it's not that safe. Especially if you're going with Ilya, they might attack him." Luca tries not to look worried. He's planned all of this out on his diary anyways. There's nothing to worry about. He'll keep Ilya safe, no matter what. "Dad, it's going to be fine. I have thoroughly planned everything. No one is getting hurt, we're just visiting. Now if you may, I'm going over to Milogros's tavern."
As Ramses dismisses his son, Luca starts walking downstairs, towards the main door. He just has to go to Milogros's tavern for herbs. It's no big deal. He does this every week. Ilya needs them. "Everything is gonna go according to plan" He repeats to himself one more time, before opening the door.
The bright sunlight lightly blinds the dragon for a moment. He did have some of his fathers Cave-Dragon DNA, after all. He's slowly walking around, like he's on a stroll. Greeting everyone, growing flowers and giving them to kids, and of course, greeting his dear animals. Milogros's house wasn't that far away, there was just a lot of people outside. Made sense, it was the beginning of the day, and it was beginning to be summer too. It was really warm, and the perfect weather for kids to play outside.
As he approaches the tavern, he stops. He takes a deep breath in, and knocks on the door. Luca is the only one to knock on Milogros's door. It's a habit by now, but she always recognizes the knocks. So it's a way of telling who's coming to the store. Luca takes a step back, so that he doesnt get hit by the door when it opens. He hears a familiar hum.
"Luca! Oh how glad I am to see you again!" There's that cheerful and happy tone. No matter what, Milogros seems to always sound so happy and chipper. Honestly, no one knows how. Not even me. "Morning, Milo." I say with a slightly worried tone. "Just the usual herbs for Ilya, please. Nothing else today." She nods, as she starts walking to her drawers. I seriously dont know how she keeps her hair so tidy with it being open, while shes making potions. Has it something to do with her witch background? Or is it just because her hair's orange. Oh well, i like to put my hair in a ponytail anyway. I can't stand my hair being open and all over the place.
"Not this one. No, not this either." she mumbles as she searches for the herbs. Even though her drawers are so organized, she still somehow forgets where everything is. I'm so used to it by now. I think i memorize her drawers better than she does, and she's been running the shop for over 7 years. "Aha! here it is!" She hurried towards me. "Is this enough? I think this is the same amount than last time." I chuckled a bit. "How bad is your memory? Do you need me to enhance it?" I teased. She knows I don't mean it personally. "Blah, blah, my memory's great! I totally remember everything, especially the important things!" a small pause. "Anyhow, heres the herbs! It's free of charge today, you made me smile today." I smiled back. "Thank you so much, Milo. you know you don't need to give it to me for free. I have plenty of money." I assured her, just in case. "Nah nah, take it. you look a bit stressed anyways" Fuck. "Um, haha, do I? I'm not stressed, like at all. No no, you mustn't worry about me. Everythings fine." I replied as i tried to keep calm. "Well, if you're ever worried about anything worried about anything, you can always talk to me." I nodded, and headed out.
