I am so so so so x1000 sorry for not updating! I think it's been like 6 months! Well, I am a pretty lazy person so... I also have lots of story's that I'm working on that probably won't get published. 😐 (Yes I really like emojis at the moment).
Wait, this is an apology, what am I doing! Sorry all you readers who actually read my stories. I do love you all, and I love this story too. I try my best but I have the attention span of a fish.😓 Special shout out to EternalMonologue who commented the most. Shows me that people actually are reading. Well, on to the story if you even remember what's happening. 😕
The sunlight shone gently through the gap in the curtains straight onto Cecelia's face. She mumbled in her sleep and turned away from the light. Moments later her eyes snapped wide open. "I'm late!" She exclaimed jumping out of bed and changing. Oh no...
Cecelia sprinted across the lawn the sunlight beating on her back. It's pretty hot here, stupid Charles. She thought as she ran. Skidding to a halt before her classroom door, she flung it open and was at the teachers sider just as she announced that there would be a new student.
I have excellent timing skills. Cecelia said to herself heaving a quiet sigh. "This is Cecelia Skye who transferred in yesterday." The teacher announced in a very familiar voice. Cecelia glance upwards and her eyes saw a very familiar man.
"Charles!" She exclaimed shocked.
"Glad to see you aren't late." Charles replied eyes darting to the wide open door. Cecelia was about to reply when someone ran through the door at full speed, crashed into their seat, and pretended to think nothing was wrong.
"Okay why are you late again?" Charles asked exasperatedly.
The boy sheepishly replied, "My bed held me hostage."
The rest of the class burst into laughter and even Charles cracked a smile. Cecelia stood there, not understanding why it was funny. "Cecelia do you want to sit next to Cassandra?" Cecelia shrugged, and wordlessly walked to the only spare seat.
A girl with light brown hair and green eyes smiled at her. "Nice to meet you, I'm Cassandra." Cecelia forced a small smile. "I'm Cecelia, pleasure to meet you." Charles tapped his desk with a pencil, "let's start the class now."
Cecelia felt relief when the bell rang. Maths was definitely not her forte. "Come on!" Cassandra shouted grabbing her hand. Cecelia's eyes widened a fraction and she tensed up.
Cassandra looked at her confused. "What's wrong?" She asked pausing mid-step. Cecelia shook her head, "nothing, let's go." Cassandra looked at her again but dashed off nonetheless, dragging Cecelia after her.
Cassandra led Cecelia to what seemed like the cafeteria. Grabbing a tray, Cassandra lined up for what looked like fish and chips. Cecelia followed suit.
"Just chips please, with tomato sauce please." Cecelia told the serving person. After gathering her food, she spotted Cassandra sitting at one of the long tables, waving at her. Cecelia smiled and walked over, choosing a random seat.
"Excuse me, that's my seat." A haughty voice told Cecelia just as she set her try down. She turned around and came face to face with a girl who really needed a make-up tutorial. Cecelia stared for a minute wondering how someone could put make-up on that horrendously before turning her attention to the actual person.
"Sorry, who are you?" She asked staring right back at the girl.
She huffed. "I am the amazing, pretty, intelligent, fabulous..."
