{Chapter 38}
Aaron sat on the ground of the bunker with his hands tied with a zip tie and his mouth was taped shut, so he couldn't persuade the two men to let them all go. The two men were standing side by side, whispering to one another, as the grenades were laid against the wall, in case they needed to use them to threaten them again.
"Aston, they can't possibly do anything now that they are being held captive." One told his partner, now known as Aston
Aston let out a scoff, "This is why you are a Private, Dylan! Knowing that a bunch of their soldiers are being held captive, they are going to call the high authorities!"
Dylan scoffed as he didn't think anything of it, "Who are they even going to call as the high authorities? The military is probably the highest authority here!"
Aaron internally rolled his eyes at how stupid Dylan was thinking they were the highest authority ever. The soldiers captured with him were doing a good job at listening to instructions so they could all get out of there alive. Most of the men he got to work with for this were all either mostly married and had families. They all wanted to eventually go home to be with their spouses and kids and families when they are finally done with their deployment.
"Dude! The BAU or worse SHIELD! That's who they are gonna call!" Aston told his partner as he looked at him with frustration
Aaron tensed lightly at the names and knew that his team were most likely already called because of him. Luckily, the two didn't notice him tense up but the soldiers next to him did, but didn't cause a scene about it.
"What's the BAU and SHIELD?" Dylan asked with no knowledge of other units
Aston rolled his eyes at his partner at his stupidity, and now questioned why he chose to work with him all along, "My god! Why are you so dumb!? The BAU and SHIELD have better knowledge and weapons then us! They could easily take both of us down in a heartbeat!"
Aaron smirked internally to himself, knowing that they have a weakness to their whole hostage idea. One of the soldiers tried to talk to them but it was muffled by the tape on his mouth.
Aston walked over to him and ripped the tape off, "What!?"
"There's someone in this bunker who is a BAU agent and is dating a SHIELD agent!" A soldier told the two men
Every soldier's eyes widen along with Aaron to play along
