Abandoned

Chapter 1

We looked at each other and searched through the helicopter for anything useful. Nothing, nothing at all.

Liam pulled opened his backpack declaring "there's only three more cans of plane food"

"How much water" Joey responded before Liam answered we heard loud rattling of chains.
"What is that" I asked.

"I don't know " Analyssa whispered as she walked to the door on the building passing the broken air vent. There were gnarled hands sticking through the door held back by chains. Lana the bruised girl walked towards the door. I reached for my blade as the rest reached for their weapons. We walked to the door and stabbed the hands, pushing the door to shut. Lana held it closed with Joey . Liam looked around and saw any other way to get in the building. "Guys there's Bel monte central high school over there" pointing in the direction, I realized we were on the hospital building.

Joey figured soon enough that we lived here and we had to get home to look for our families. The chains holding the door clattered loudly as the creatures started to crawl through the space. We ran quickly and pierced our weapons through there heads. When the door thrusted open as if the chains weren't there.

We frantically stabbed and pushed through . "We have to get inside the-buil- ding" Joey said pulling one of the creatures off of Lana. We eventually made it through with no casualties. The building was at least twelve floors. The hallways were sharp and narrow.
When we got to the tenth floor we noticed the stairs beneath broke off crashing to the bottom.

We walked into the hallway with dim flickering lights we figured the lights would go soon. I gripped my weapon when the light at the stairs fell. "Shit" Analyssa said when it crashed on the floor. We walked until we got to the end of the hallway. The elevator door was there open but there was no elevator.

"It's our only way" Joey said walking towards the elevator.

"No, not by yourself I'm going to" I said demanding.

"Fine" he said "hurry up"

We climbed down the ladders when all of a sudden the noise of screeching creature were coming to the hall. "Crap" Analyssa ran with Liam stabbing the creatures. "Leave lana" Liam mouthed. They stabbed the creatures but, there were to many coming. Liam grabbed Analyssa and ran into the closest hospital room. Shutting the door quickly Liam locked and barricaded.

Meanwhile, Lana jumped barely catching grip of the ladders beneath us her body slammed and she fell back but, reflexes saved her just barely. She yelped in pain as part of the broken ladder was into her chest. She yelled in agony as she realized her body was impaled with a rusty laddershe started panicking thrusting her body to get of her life hook. She slipped off and fell only to hit the floor less than a second from a height of 12 feet.

Joey quickly got to the floor searching for any sign of life. She was dead because of blood loss and head trauma. I got down and heard the creatures splash blood on the floor as they killed themselves trying to get to us. We ran out of the building straight to the school. We heard voices, familiar ones. We saw Janet Wilson the exchange student in the air vent praying. She spotted us and jumped out asking for help in a weird accent.

Then more people appear, they all are defenseless . There were six of them Janet, Michael, Jason , Nerissa , Rebecca , and Daisy.

"Please help us" Janet asked?

"We won't hold you back" michael pleaded.

"Ok, ok" I said quietly. With that they followed us. "Quiet guys I hear them" Joey whispered. A creature jumped out and grabbed at Joey but his reflexes were faster than that of the creature. His knife was in its skull. They continued walking through the sharp narrow hallways. "Oh god" I mouthed. There was a huge hole in the wall. We walked through the hole and saw a van barely big enough.

We all entered the van as I took the front seat luckily the keys were in the ignition but the wheels were stuck. A red light pointed at us from a hidden corner. "we're being watched Joey" I whispered.

"How do you know"? Joey said sliding out from the back seat.

"There's a camera on the locker" I said looking at the camera straight on. "There on to us" a man said. "Send in the crates".
