There was nothing in space, until the galaxies were created. In one of these galaxies, is where one of the greatest adventures the galaxies have ever seen, take place.
Averin was a peaceful galaxy. It was divided into the Four Kingdoms: Fermos is in the south(Fire), Aeria is in the east (Air), Gaian is in the west (Earth) and Aquel is in the north (Water). Then there was the Centre of Averin, which combines all of the Kingdoms and were always ruled over fairly by the Royal Family.
Those were the days, when magic still existed in harmony with the humans. The Rulers and the inhabitants of the our Kingdoms could harness the magic of their Kingdom's element through some studying. Members of the Royal Family though, were born with the Gift of the elements and could harness one or more of them. The magic was contained because of the Amulet. Hidden away in the treasure room of the King's palace, the Amulet symbolized the Kingdoms and the power of the elements. It wasn't a question of if it was going to break, it was a question of when.
The day the King and his family was assassinated, was also the day the Amulet shattered. The power was no longer controllable. Magic rampaged through the land destroying the Kingdoms in unrepairable ways. The Kings and Queens of the Kingdoms themselves became corrupt and treated their subjects in gruesome ways.
Even though Fermos is the Kingdom of Fire, it was plagued along with the other three Kingdoms by forest fires and seemingly almost random flames that kind of popped up along the cobble stone streets and in houses, more often than not causing a whole housing district to burn down. Sometimes, a tall wall of fire roared across the fields and in the cities. People lost their lives, homes and the King still demanded unbelievably high taxes.
This event was called by all in the Kingdoms as the Burning.
