Chapter 52: Evil Plan

∞ Namji ∞

While trying to filter some of my photos with EXO, I noticed Lyn got inside the room.

"Lyn-a.. Chanyeol-oppa gave you some ice cream.. it's there in the fridge." I called her.
She just gave a nod and went to the fridge.

"Yah.. where have you been Lyn? The guys thought you were sleeping but you were not here in your room all afternoon.."
She stopped when I ask her.
"What? Did something happen? Did your father meet you again?" I ran towards her.

She turned her face at me.
"No.. it's not about my father.."
"Then what? Come on .. tell me, I'm your best friend."
"Earlier.." Lyn started to explain..
"What.? What happened earlier?" I interrupted her.
"Earlier.. I was in D.O's room.."
She continued..
(⊙o⊙)？ D.O's room?
My eyes became larger and I covered my mouth.
"It's not what you are thinking Namji-ya."
My face went back to normal and leaned my ears to her. "I'm listening. Go on."

Then she narrated to me what just happened earlier.. in D.O oppa's room.
"But what is the problem there? The person got sick so you have to take care of him."
I spoke out when I saw the sadness on her face.
"The problem is.." She stopped.
"What's the problem Lyn? Spit it out."
"Is... I think I like him."
"Him? Who's him?.." I kid..
"Namjiya.. " She turned her face to me feeling so depressed.
"I know.. Kekeke.. But how? I thought you liked the guy in your memory?" I asked with confusion.
Lyn shrugged.
"I don't know Namji.. half of my brain wanted to search this guy and my past but half of it wanted to start something new."
She uttered.
'Is she out of her mind? She took a risk of coming here to search her memories but then stop everything and start a new one?'

"But Lyn.. what about everything we did just to come here?" I protested.
"I know we met a lot of difficulties and worse I even got you into trouble and I'm sorry for that Namjiya.. but it's over four months but I haven't got the clue where to start.." She got the point though. But what happen to the Lyn who never gave up.. Is it because ..
"It's because of D.O right? You were afraid that one day you'll find yourself and then leave him.." I said what I've been thinking.
She froze.
'It's true..'
"If you found this guy.. everything will be solved, if D.O likes you back then that's an additional prize..simple as that. And what happened to the Lyn I knew before who always fights.. Bring her in!" I exclaimed my side.

Lyn remained silent for a while and then spoke.
"If that would do.. I need to talk to my father again.. He is the person I need to go to."
"That's my girl... but be careful.." I smiled and she did the same way.
"By the way, you and D.O looked good together.. （⌒▽⌒）How about Me and Chanyeol oppa?" I chuckled.
"Mmm.. yah.. but do you know who looked good together..?"
"Who?" I asked with interest on my face.
"You and ..."
"Who?"
"You and I..." And she laughed.
'Stupid.. Don't fall inlove with me Lyn.. I don't like bisexuals.'
I pinched her and we both laughed.
At least for today, she laughed.

∞ Chanyeol ∞

I shouldn't have passed by and tried to as her if she have eaten the icecream.. I shouldn't have eavesdropped..
At this moment, I had another painful experience..

'...I like him.'

Another downfall..
'Hwangjae was right.
Dyo likes Lyn. Lyn likes Dyo.
How about my feelings?
I was the first one who liked her?'

That first time was when she bumped unto us... unto D.O..
That first time was when she rode into the van.. with us.. beside D.O
'Why him? Not me?..
Should I give up..?'

'You'll get yours, I'll get mine.'
Hwangjae's words ran in my mind.
'Is there still mine if she was owned by another one?'

I walked straight to my room and dialed a number.
Hwangjae's number. She's the one I wanted to talk to.

∞ Baekhyun ∞

I was preparing my bed sheet when Dyo woke up.
I hurriedly ran to him to help him get up.

"Easy Dyo.. don'r forget you still have a fever."
"Fever?"
"Yahh.. and Lyn took care of you.. Isn't it amazing?." I smiled at him when he was comfortably sitting
D.O gave me a questioning look.
"I know you like her Dyodol.. no need to tell me.. you know how keen I am in observing you.." I chuckled but D.O just gave me a frown.

"Hey.. did I say something wrong? I--I thought it's true--"
"You know what's true?..." Dyo interrupted.
"That you thought she's already the one.. the girl in your dreams.. but then you found out.. she's gone.. gone as in dead."
"Dyo.." I spoke.
"But then I envisioned the girl here earlier who turned out to be Lyn.. just Lyn."
And tears slowly fell from his eyes.

That's why..that's why he went home so sad.. He just learned that the girl he had been dreaming of was already dead..
He really thought Lyn was the girl the time he saw her eyes..
He expected it.. but expectations led to frustrations..

Lyn was just another girl.
"Well.. the search is over Dyo.. Sad ending.. Just cry.." And I lent my shoulder to my buddy who is silently weeping.

∞ Third Person ∞

While D.O is in-depth sadness, Mr. Do Myeon Wa-his father, was feeling gay.

"Mr. Do.. Based from the detective.. He's here in South Korea from U.S.A.. looking after her daughter who is a music mentor in a large entertainment." His secretary once told.

"What's the name of this daughter of hers? And what company is she working?" Do Myeon Wa asked with crossed-arms.

"Shin Hye Rin. SM Entertainment."

He smirked remembering the news he received hours ago.
'What a coincidence! Her daughter in my son's working place. Fate has been so good to me.. Two purposes in one job. I will get my son and her daughter to lure him to me'
He thought and called a liable person.

"Hello. This Do Myeon Wa. I want you to take a look of a lady named Shin Hye Rin.. .. in SME.. Get every info about her. Understand?" And he hung up, got the cup of coffee and started drinking.

'This is what it feels like to be a mafia boss.. You can get what whatever you want. Next in line is Shin Jun Goo and Do Kyung Soo. If you won't come.. an evil plan will follow.. No one turned his back to Do Myeon Wa. No one!!' His mind was thinking deep.

A smile can be seen in the glass window he's facing.
A smile of anticipated success.
