Most boys and girls my age have or had crushes and in my case and a quarter of the girls in my year liked one guy, his name is Kaido Yokodoma. My parents have the dream family, two kids, a loving relationship, a history of insanity on my mother's side... ok maybe not that last one but otherwise a perfect family. My mom once told me that one day I would find someone I loved as much as she loved my dad. She told me that when I found this special person to fight for them, to hold on and never let go and if anyone got in my way to squash them like a mosquito between my fingers, my mom said the last part with a sly wink and whispered "literally" before slinking back to her bedroom.
My best friend Mya Fuyoka and I have been joined at the hip since preschool. Our parents are best friends so naturally we were like siblings. Sometimes during recess and lunch we jokingly thought of plans to murder teachers and people we didn’t like. It's only now we’re in high school that I realise that was not normal.
