Waiting
You're sending mixed messages
Or maybe it's just me
But I'm being tossed
Between two realities
My heart has melted and frozen
It crumbles more every time
I want to let go
But I can't
Hoping you'll reach for me
Pull me back
But you should have done already
It should not have gone this far
When you're sweet I wonder
Do you really love me
Or is it your act of duty
Have I become your responsibility
Rather than your privilege
