Every little girl has had a dream about one day becoming a princess and living in a castle with their prince charming, living happily ever after. But unfortunately for Adeline, her childhood was always filled with arguments between her parents, and her older sister always picking on her. Her mom loved her and always cared for her, meanwhile her dad was an alcoholic and hated her but favored her older sister, Kimberly.
Her dad wasn't always like this, he used to love his wife and daughters ... and son. But one day they were in a party, and Adeline, Kimberly and their mom decided to go home early, but their dad and little brother Joah had stayed behind to have a little more fun. Their dad had had some drinks and thought he was fine so he called Joah to go home. On their way home driving he started to get a blurry vision, all of a sudden Joah throws up in the back seat.
"Hey Joah are you ok there buddy? Too many sweets huh? Its ok i'll clean it up later, just lay down it'll make you feel better"
"Ok daddy"
After a few minutes of driving his eyes started to feel heavy and felt very tired. All of a sudden the car drifted to the right, the next thing he knew he saw a tree right in front of his car and he felt really hurt. Then everything went black.
When he woke up he found himself in the hospital. Adeline and Kimberly were crying at his side.
"Girls whats going on? What happened? Why are y'all crying?"
"Daddy! Oh my god your ok! I thought you were gonna die too!"
"What? What do you mean you thought I was going to die too? Whats going on?"
"Daddy, ... Joah ... Joah died. Y'all were on your way home, and the docters say you were a little drunk and you crashed with a tree. But you're fine, you're ok you only have a few bruises and some cuts, ... but Joah .. Joah didnt have his seat belt on. So he flew out the window and hit his head on a rock."
"W-what!?"
"Daddy calm down, please the docter said your not supposed to be doing much effort."
"Stop lying and tell me where Joah is! JOAH!!"
