Noelle is miserable. She just left her boyfriend and moved out of their apartment. Now, she crashes on her best friend's couch. At a bar, Noelle meets a man—tall, grumpy, and irritatingly handsome. After a few drinks and a flirty conversation, she ends up getting pressed against the wall of a supply closet.

If only she had known that this stranger would turn out to live right across the hall from her best friend's apartment...

Bucky has written off dating. Romance in general, even. Or so he thought. When he meets a beautiful woman at a bar, he finds himself overly intrigued by her, and eventually gives in to his temptations.

Only to find out that this woman he cannot get out of his head is his annoying neighbor's best friend.

Neither of them can deny that damn sexual tension between them. How could they not give in, anyway?
