A new ski jumping season starts. Not just the jumper themselves are looking forward to it, but also the team members (coach, physio, assistant, media, etc.). Among them is Helena.
The 27-year-old daughter of a former ski jumping assistant coach grew up with ski jumping, but stopped jumping at a young age. After a few years living in Slovenia her family moved back to Austria and from that time on she became friends with some jumpers because, although she stopped jumping at the age of 10, she went to the same high school as the jumpers of her agegroup. During that time, she became friends with Philipp Aschenwald in particular, and he quickly became her best friend, also because they didn't live far apart.
After one semester of university, she aborted it and became a physiotherapist. After a short time as a physio for the other competitions, she got a job as a physio for the ÖSV team, which she has been doing for about 4 years now.
Due to her early contact with the jumpers, she immediately was part of the team without any problems. In addition to her normal activities, she now also takes on some press and social media matters.
While Philipp is her best friend, Andi Widholzl and Manu Fettner are almost like brothers to Helena. In general, however, she is good with most of the skijumping family, regardless of their nationality.
In the upcoming season there are breaks due to the soccer World Cup, feelings are discovered, new love flares up, old love is kept and strengthened...
