Number Five One-shots (Umbrella Academy)

Hello everyone!! I decided to try something new. I wrote this one-shot based on the song "Dark Red" by Steve Lacy.

"Something bad about to happen to me,

I don't know what, but I feel it coming"

Five ran outside the house he had grown up in. He needed to prove to his father that he was ready, he was going to time travel to the future and come back. He smirked thinking of how shocked his father would be when he came back and he told him he had time traveled.

Before jumping, he hesitated slightly, he remembered the look on Y/n's face when he had run out. "Maybe this isn't a good idea..." he thought for a moment. "No" he told himself "this is right, I'm going to time travel and come back to Y/n".

"Might be so sad, might leave my nose running"

Little did he know, that would be the biggest mistake of his life. Now he stood next too a broken down building, his only company a mannequin, thinking of Y/n. Tears ran down his face and nose running as he thought of her, her beautiful smile, her adorable laugh, her gorgeous y/e/c coloured eyes and y/h/c hair. He wish he had stayed with his beloved Y/n, all he wanted was to hear her laugh one more time...

"I just hope she don't wanna leave me,

Don't you give me up, please don't give me up"

This was it, Five could finally go back in time and see Y/n again. Hopefully he hadn't messed up the equations. He gulped, what if Y/n had moved on? What if she no longer loved him? He didn't want to even think about it... "please say you haven't given up on me Y/n..." he mumbled under his breath, and in a flash of blue, he vanished.

"On me, I belong with you, and only you, baby"

"Shit!" Five said as he looked at his hands, he definitely had messed up the equations. As he looked up, he say all of his siblings but they all were much older. Until his eyes landed on a familiar pair of y/e/c ones.

Y/n's eyes widened, "it can't be him" she thought to herself, "this must be a hallucination".

"F-five?" She said, her voice shaking as tears pricked her eyes. "Y/n" Five breathed out the name of the person he had missed so much.

In an instant, Y/n had wrapped her arms around Five and let out a loud sob. Five hugged his love back immediately, he didn't even care to ask how she still was in a thirteen year old body like him. All he cared about was her arms around him.

"I missed you so much Y/n" he said, tears running down his face as he hugged her close, not caring that any of their siblings were watching. "Me too Five" She said letting out a sob of her own. He inhaled her sent that he missed so dearly.

"Breaking the hug, Five stared into her eyes before saying,"I'm so so so sorry for leaving you Y/n! I-I tried to come back I promise! I'm sooo sorry!" He sobbed out. In return Y/n just smiled gently, " I know you did Fivey, and I forgive you" she told him softly while wiping his tears with her thumb.

Five's tummy erupted with butterflies as he heard her childhood nickname she had given him and he blushed furious. He forgot the feeling she always seemed to give him when she said that nickname. He smiled softly, before taking her chin in his hand and kissing her deeply. And in that moment, all that mattered was his lips on hers and nothing else...
