Cold began to take hold of the landscape, as it did each year, and whilst fragments of life battle onset of emptiness. There was no doubt winter has arrived, I withdrew myself from the large, stained window, looking down the dead silent halls of the palace my brother took over, as I paced down the halls you could hear the clicking of my boots on the old cold tiles. "βινύλι!" A young voice called out, I look behind me and smiled. "Hello Agafya." I breathed, the young child seethed with excitement. "Why are you so excited, Kleiner Hase?" I asked in curiosity; the child scrunched up their face in confusion at the unfamiliar language before continuing. "I saw the great warriors in the village!" They spoke excitedly, brown bangs moving slightly  as they jumped up and down.

My face slowly merged into disgust, "Agafya, you come here and disturb me" I say walking closer to the child and crouching down to their height, "To tell me something so disappointing?" I sigh standing back up glancing back at the child. They had a look of uneasiness on their small pale face. "Now, run along back to your mother Kleiner Hase." I snarl, glaring at the child with displeasure. "But-" I cut Agafya odd, "No buts, I've had this talk with you before little one." I whisper, pinching their cheek. They child lets a out a small squeak of pain then turned around, quickly running out of the palace. I straighten my posture hissing as a pop erupted from my spine.

I hear a scoff and immediately know who it is, "Azrail." I greet, "Vinyl." He mouthed in return as he strutted up to me, towering over my frame. "Your name is rather pathetic," He smirks before continuing, "I would recommend a name change." He says mockingly trying to strike a nerve. "I loathe you." I murmur under my breathe, I felt a harsh push and then the air in my lungs violently exit as I hit the floor. "Watch it." Azrail growls outraged, soon turning on his heel returning into the darkness. I gasp trying to get air in my lungs to cease the burning sensation, catching my composer I stand up melancholy and brush the dirt off of my black dress pants. "Arschloch." I spouted before turning away to exit the decaying 'castle'.

I cautiously walk down the overgrown stone path that lead to the village in front of the royal castle, the closer I got the more I heard the bustling noises of markets and people socialising with each other. I scoffed at the guards who stood tall in front of the village gates, 'So idiotic.' I thought as I quickly emerged into the darkness of the ally ways in the village. I'd scrunch my face up witnessing the happy people in the village, feeling disgusted at the positivity. I started to walk faster, avoiding the sun not wanting to been seen. I start to see my destination as I move quickly  until I run into someone, stumbling back I hold my nose hissing in pain. "Sorry about that, sir." A nice, calm voice spoke. I looked up and saw the 'mystery' person I bumped into as soon as I saw their face I froze. "I-.." I stuttered, the guard looked at me awkwardly and I snapped back into reality when they grabbed my hand and kissed it. I scoffed and pulled my hand away, "Ugh, do not touch me." I growled and pushed passed them furiously.

I looked back irritated when they grabbed my shoulder, she had a serious expression on her face. "Do not, treat a warrior like that." They spoke in a serious tone staring into my eyes, I look at them blankly trying not to snicker. I quickly pull away and dip my head in respect. "My apologies, warrior." I say in a bored tone then turning away and walking to a small house. I knock on the door lightly before bursting in, "σκατά, με τρόμαξες." Agafya's mother cursed under her breathe. I chuckle, "Hello, schön." she glared at me with her piercing green eyes then throws a book at me, I quickly dodge it. "That's not very nice, Thalia." I frown, Thalia sighs. "Why are you here?" She asks, I smile. "Agafya, take them for lunch?" I ask nicely, Thalia scoffs smiling softly calling out for her child. "βινύλι, why are you here?" They asked. I grab their hand and wave to their mother as I walked them out of the house.
