"Hello! Im Charlie!" I said quite loudly. The boy looked down at me and smiled awkwardly. " H-Hi" He stuttered with a goofy, lopsided grin. He looked at her then back down at his hand, his eyes suddenly glowing.
"Is this your I.D?" He said quietly, handing her the plastic card. I nodded gratefully and pulled something out of my backpack. I handed it to him with a grin.
"An I.O.U card...?' He read, confused.
"Yup! So now you can ask me for any favor! Its kinda my thing " I chuckled, waving goodbye as i skipped along...
I was walking along the street, carefully counting each step. My long, blonde hair cascaded down my back. I was wearing a maroon hoodie and black leggings. I remember this day like it was yesterday. I had my dog, Juniper, on my left-hand side, trotting beside me. It was a cool October day. I heard a screech as a boy ran up to me.
"Holy shit Jake" I yelped as he jumped on my back. He was obnoxious, but he was my best friend.
"Hey" he said, dramatically dragging out his y. "Ya know there's this creepy dude behind us. Probably in love with my beautiful looks" He said, "flipping his hair". I just nodded sarcastically as Juniper turned around and barked. She then ran ahead of us, home was only 5 feet away. I lived in a beautiful apartment with Jake and Juniper. I looked through my bag for my keys.
"Shit I left them inside.." I said. I went over to the rocks and grabbed our spare key. I then unlocked the house before gently placing the key back. Bad idea....
