I was laying on top of him , we were looking at each other in silence . I adore the fact that we can sit like this without feeling awkward . It's like we can talk without actually talking . He made me smile so much , he looked so good in my bed .
C- do you want to go out or stay in and watch a movie or maybe bake something ?- he smiled
M- hmmmm, how about we stay in ?- I smiled as well . He placed his hand on my cheek . Another god Damn knock on the door . I groaned and got up . I wore his shirt and walked to the door , I opened it and my eyes met the unexpected
M- Dad ?- he looked at me
D- Hey honey - he had a big smile on his face
C- Mads- he walked out once again in just his sweats . When my dad saw him his look went from being happy to angry
D- What is he doing in your apartment ?- Clyde looked up and saw my dad
M- he is my friend Clyde - I frowned
D- yea I know who he is but why is he here ? - Clyde kept looking at him
M- what do you mean ?- I was so confused of the whole situation
D- Madison this man's family is the reason your mother and I lost our jobs . And you , get out of here now - he started shouting
C- it's okay Mads , I'll call you later - he walked out still looking at my dad . I realised that I was still wearing his shirt .
M- What is wrong with you? You can't just suddenly come in my house and scream at my friends to get out - I felt my cheek stinging after my dad used his hand on it
D- don't you dare raise your voice at me . We didn't raise you to behave like this - I looked at him
M- you never fucking raised me . Fred and Josephine did . Your first priority was work . NEVER me . Why the hell are you even here ?- I'm so glad I wasn't raised by him or mom
D- you are coming with us . You can't say no , we have planned everything already . Now put some clothes on and let's go - he glared at me
M- what the fuck is going on - I covered my eyes by him yelling at me again to go and I ran to my room crying .

In a matter 3 hours I was in a plane with both of my parents on our way back to Connecticut . They acted as if nothing happened while I felt like I left both Eliot and Clyde all alone .

They took my phone for 3 whole weeks . I haven't been able to sleep because of the constant crying . They force me to go on these stupid meetings with their new co workers . They all were looking at me like they have never seen a 20 year old before . I just wanna be able to go next door and hang with Eliot like old times . I left him without an explanation. Fred and Josephine don't live there anymore .

3 months , still haven't talked to anyone . I overheard my parents talking about an arranged marriage . Please don't let this happen . Please . I can't do anything , I can't leave , they made sure I have no escape

4th month . I got my phone back . We are going to dinner with some of their friends soon . I was scrolling through instagram when I saw Clyde with another girl . I broke down crying . Then I heard my phone buzz . I answered fast
E- Madison ? - his voice placed a smile on my face
M- hey - i wiped my tears
E- oh my god , whats going on ? Where are you ? Are you okay ?- it sounded like he was at some club and was trying to find the exit
M- I'm.... Somewhat fine . I can't give you too many details - I sniffled
E- have you been kidnapped ?- he made his way out , I could hear the cars
M- somewhat . Mom and dad wanted me back home I guess - I looked out my window
E- what the fuck ? You are in Connecticut?- I whispered a small yes and then I heard someone in the background say something
E- give me one second dude . Madison , I'm gonna help you okay ?- I didn't open my mouth . I had my head turned to the doorway now . If I dare to say the smallest word he will use it . And use it hard
E- Madison ?- my eyes got teary again
D- put it down - I hanged up and placed my phone down

I was slowly getting ready for the dinner . I looked at myself in the mirror and looked at the bruises , who knew a belt can do so much damage . I wore the dress my mom forced me to wear for tonight . My phone got taken away again . It felt so much better then they didn't have time for me .

We arrived at the house . A lady opened it , short blond hair with grey roots , bright smile , green eyes , soft looking skin . She was wearing a red dress with red heels and red earrings , her name was Sarah . She welcome us inside , the whole house decorated for Christmas which was in only a few days . A man walked to us , Sarah's husband I suppose . Tall, black hair with , once again , grey roots , brown eyes . He was wearing a nice button up shirt with anchors on it and a pair of pants that matched the color of his shirt . His name was Marcus
Ma- we are so glad to finally meet you Madison . Your parents have told us so much about you . Honey will you please call Logan downstairs- he shook my hand . I gave him a small smile
L- I'm here - we all turned towards the stairs . He looked about 24 , long brown hair with green eyes , looked like his mother a lot , he seemed friendly but the look in his eyes said otherwise , he was hiding something
S- let's go sit at the table then - she smiled , we all walked to the table , I sat between my parents so do did Logan .

The night went kind of well till Logan and I heard this
D- so , when are we thinking the wedding will take place? I mean I really wanna see my daughter in a white dress and your son in a beautiful black suit - he smiled . Logan and I stopped eating the dessert and looked at each other . He swallowed and looked at my dad
L- what do you mean ? - he laughed nervously
Ma- You and Madison will be getting married - he smiled
L- I don't think neither of us agreed with this .- he placed a nervous smile on his face and looked at me and then at his dad
Ma- it's not up to you . You are 24 now , you need a wife - I got up
M- excuse me for a second . Where is the bathroom ?- I looked at Sarah
S- First door on the right upstairs- I nodded and walked to the bathroom , I looked the door and broke down crying . Why is this happening to me . I should have gone to Eliot's apartment when my dad came to mine . I hate this shit .
