A Tale of Two Brothers: Volume I

Chapter IX - Haunted

"We thought you were dead!" Bonnie looked Zayne up and down in disbelief.

Zayne growled deeply, "No. He left me for dead in that vile pit!" He spat with tenacious hatred. Zayne approached the purple bunny and loomed over him, "I am here to seek my revenge and also to remind you all that if you dare stand in my way..." He leaned in closer to the purple rabbit, "I will not hesitate to destroy you; rip you limb from limb, slowly yet painfully." He stood straight to his full height again, "Because do you know the difference between you and I?"

Bonnie's ears flattened as he gulped and shook his head nervously.

"You were not born; you were built by insects for insects-"

"Well so were you!" One of the other bots shouted out boldly.

Bonnie, Foxy and the other bots looked over at the African wild dog that spoke.

Zayne slowly turned his head over his left shoulder; his bright crimson optics glaring razor sharp daggers into the wild dog's green gaze, "Arrogance." His voice was a dark, sinister growl; he turned around to face the canine, "Ignorance." The tiger took an intimidating step towards the bot, "Naivete." He aggressively loomed over the smaller canine as a shadow cast over the bot from Zayne's large frame, "These are the qualities of a weak." The bot's ears flattened as Zayne's tone shook through his core, "Pathetic." The golden furred wild dog sunk into himself and began crying as he started to tremble with fear, "Incompetent waste of scrap!"

Zayne upper cutted the canine, sending him into the air as he leapt up with his ion thrusters and grabbed the smaller bot before throwing him harshly towards the ground. The bot viciously crashed into the floor leaving a body sized crater in the concrete. Zayne landed on his feet as he stood above the badly damaged bot with the dog between his feet. He gripped the sparking canine by the throat with his left paw and lifted him up off the ground.

"I was designed to crush." He squeezed the canine's throat, crushing it under his grip, "To torture." He used his right paw and punched right through the metal casing of the bot's torso and pulled out crucial mechanical components, "To maim." Zayne grabbed the left side of the bot's face and ripped off a chunk of metal, exposing the inner workings of the canine, "To slaughter!" Zayne screamed out as he gripped the fluffy white and blonde tail of the bot and pulled it harshly. The canine screamed as tears fell down his cheeks, hitting his exposed wiring. He felt his tail get ripped out as he also felt his spinal column getting pulled out with it.

Zayne tossed the tail and oil covered spinal column across the room as the canine's head collapsed as his optical viewfinders popped out of their sockets. The tiger threw the heap of unrecognizable metal in front of Bonnie and Foxy before storming over to them as their goons tried holding the large feline back with no effect as Zayne simply backhanded one and knocked his head clean off before ripping the second in half at the midriff.

Bonnie and Foxy hastily backed away from the approaching predator and stumbled over the metal cafeteria tables as Zayne picked the tables up, ripping them from their floor bolts and throwing them through the room. The purple rabbit and red fox fumbled over their feet and fell to the floor, hitting their backside; they began scooting away as they gazed up at Zayne.

Zayne hung his head low as he held an execrable gaze with his optics glowing in the shadow that cast over his large form; his body cast a dark, insidious shadow over the fearful bots. He watched as Bonnie and Foxy backed themselves against a wall and huddled with each other. Zayne leaned down closer to the two bots who had their optics shut tightly and their ears flattened, "Have I made myself clear?" His words reverberated off the concrete wall behind the bots and shook them to their core.
