"RUN! GET OUT OF THE HOUSE! IT'S NOT SAFE! SAVE YOURSELF!"
"MUM! DAD! COME ON! IT'S NOT SAFE IN THERE! YOU'RE GOING TO BURN! GET OUT!"
"ANNIE! COME ON SWEETIE! COME OUT OF THE HOUSE! YOU CAN'T BE IN THERE! COME ON! I CAN'T LOSE YOU TOO!"

"Skylar, it's not what it looked like! I was-"
"Oh really Toby?! Cause it sure looks like you're cheating on you're girlfriend!"

My eyes flew open, staring at the white, popcorn ceiling. Sweat built up on my brow and and my breathing was heavy. My eyes were wide and my heart wouldn't stop running at a hundred miles per hour.
"You do realize that just because you act like these things don't affect you, doesn't mean that they don't? Right?" Kyley asked me, lounging in the doorway.
"Yes, but maybe if I pretend that they don't bother me, they'll go away like magic!" I explained, propping myself up against the headboard.
"I hate to burst your bubble, but you're not getting your Hogwarts letter, Sky. And a tragic experience will leave a scar. So, yours is nightmares if you haven't realized that yet. And once again, you fell asleep reading," Kyley smirked pointing to the book sprawled out on my stomach and strolled over to my full bed and sat on my feet.
"I was gonna get up and read, you know!?" I asked, eyebrows up. "And thank you! You just saved me two hundred bucks! I have my own psychologist at my finger tips! Plus, it's not my fault that I got wrapped up trying to figure out what happened to Gus!" I exclaimed as I tossed the book to the night stand to my right.
"English please..." She muttered, ignoring my last remark about the tragic fate of Augustus Waters.
Rest In Peace, Gus.
"You know what... never mind... it's not worth it. There's like a 89% chance that you didn't understood a word I just said."
"Whatever, love. Scoot over, I'm sleeping here," She said, as she got off my feet.
"What else did I expect from you?" I remarked, scooting over from the right side to the left, slipping the things off my face and set them on the table beside me.
"Shhhh! We don't want to wake the horrors that live in our closet, at two in the morning!" She replied, trying to fake an American accent as she laid beside me.
"Right you are, right you are..." I mumbled as my eye lids started becoming heavier and heavier.
"G'night, Sky," was the last thing I heard from Kyley as darkness surrounded me.

My eyes felt glued together when I woke up. Slowly I started easing them open to see my alarm clock blinking, blurry red fuzz. I reached out and grabbed my black nerd glasses off the night stand. 2:02 blinked on the black alarm clock.
Mmhm! I was only asleep for two minutes... I thought for a second, before I realized I felt more refreshed then I should after only getting two minutes.
Lethargically, I moved my hand around to the left, trying to feel for the familiar texture of the iPhone.
