Two Mates?

I don't understand. Why? Why do I have to go through this torture? How am I suppose to do this stupid sheet? I hate math. I'm not over-exaggerating, this is some hard stuff. Ugh. I sigh, glancing over at Chase who also has a bored face. He looks overs and rolls his eyes at his paper. I suppress a chuckle. Me and Chase have gotten close. He's my best friend. Rebecca and I are also close but not as close as me and Chase.

When the period was finally over, I went to ELA. Henry will be here! I walk slowly down the hall. Someone jumps out in front of me knocking me back into a locker. It's a guy, I would think he was incredibly hot if he wasn't pushing me against a locker. What does he want?

" What do you want?" I ask glaring into his blue eyes. He let's go and starts blushing in embarrassment.

" Oh my God, I'm so sorry. I thought you were someone else. They always come this way. I'm so sorry. I never do that to girls. I'm sorry." He says nervously scratching the back of his neck. Why do guys do that when their nervous or shy? I shake my head out of the thought.

" It's fine. You just surprised me." I say looking into his eyes again. Their so pretty. He smiles.

" My names Lucas, by the way." He says reaching out his hand. I smile.

" I'm Anna." I reply quietly. He nods.

" I know." He answers.

I shake his hand and I feel small tingles spread across my hand and up my arm. What the heck? I only get that with Henry. What's going on?

" Mate." He growls possessively. I shake my head.

" I already have a mate though. Henry's my mate." I say confused.

Lucas shakes his head, coming closer to me. The smell radiating off of him is amazing, not like Henry's but still amazing. Lucas gets even closer and his hand grabs my hand.
The tingles start again.

" Do you feel that?" Lucas asked. I shake my head.

" No." I lie, looking away. He growls.

" Don't lie." He pleads looking into my eyes.

" I'm ----" I start, I couldn't the words out because Lucas pressed his warm moist lips on mine.

My insides burst like fireworks. His hands wrap around my waist causing more tingles to spread across my skin. What is this? I try to pull away but he has a firm grip, not a hurting grip just a firm one. For some reason I don't want to pull away. His lips are so soft and I love the feeling of this kiss. No! I have Henry, a voice says. My wolf purrs though. What the hell? I don't understand any of this. Why am I reacting to him this way if it's not Henry? My lips find their way kissing him back. The kiss grows more hungry and Lucas picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. This is so wrong, but it feels so right. I shouldn't be doing this. I love Henry, he's my mate but why is my body responding to Lucas. Lucas pulls back and we both take a deep breath of air.

" Your my mate and I know it." He says. My head is dizzy from the kiss.

" Then why do I already have a mate?" I ask.

He shrugs with a frown. A part of me wants to comfort him while another part doesn't care. Agh! This is so infuriating. I have a mate, then some guy comes and says he's my mate. My body responds to both of them the same way but it love Henry. Why is this happening? Why did he kiss me? Worst of all, why did I kiss him back? I sigh, sliding down to the floor. Lucas sighs and does the same, sitting in front of me.

" Anna, I don't know what's going on but I know your my mate. I felt the bond." He says quietly. His eyes look sad and hurt.

" How are you my mate though ? This is so confusing. Do I have two mates or something ?" I ask, he shrugs.
