Chapter 32: The Children

While everyone was drunk, and Chan and Aisha had returned to Chan's room, and Sihyeon was a room apart from Jisung, Minho said to Yiren, "Lemme show you something." 

And he grabbed her hand gently and lead her along to his room. 

Yiren gasped, "I thought we decided on no weewoo-ing before marriage?" 

He looked back at her and smirked, "You call me Husband. Isn't that right, Wife?" 

Yiren blushed profusely, gulping as he took her to his room. The door opened, and her eyes were closed; she was silently praying to God that this book wouldn't turn into a terrible Fifty Shades adaptation. However, she heard a synchronized 'meow'. 

Her eyes snapped open and she squealed, "CATS!" 

Minho had a proud smile as she crouched down and petted the cats, who came running towards him. He crouched down as well, petting their heads and saying, "Meet our children: Soonie, Doongie, and Dori." 

"Our kids!" Yiren giggled, exhilarated by the amount of serotonin that the three animals gave her. She massaged Dori's neck as she continued, "Our family has been planned already! See, now we don't need to ruin my uterus!" 

"You're awfully happy about that," he crossed his arms over his chest. 

"Why wouldn't I be? I need a healthy uterus for my period cycl-" 

"Don't give me your TMI." 

"...Did you just quote your own song?" 

Minho shrugged, "Maybe, I don't know." 

She made a funny face at him and went back to petting Soonie this time, leaving Minho chuckling at her behavior. He admired her from the side, feeling adoration bubble up inside of him, making him feel giddy yet refreshed. His inner tsundere had suddenly decided not to show up, and that made him feel sort of vulnerable. 

Yet, he liked it. He liked being vulnerable with Yiren; she felt like a warm cover of blanket after a tiring day at work. And he needed that blanket with him for as long as they could go. 

"Hey, Yiren." 

"Yeah?" she spoke, too busy petting the cats as they became used to her and started approaching her without fear. 

"I think..." 

"You think...?" 

"I might be, you know..." 

"Correction: Lee Know," she really felt proud of that one. 

"Stop and let me confess something." 

Yiren looked at him in concern, and then her eyes widened, "Are you gonna breakup with me?!" 

"N-" 

"I'M SORRY! I SWEAR, THE CHILDREN WILL GET USED TO ME SOON!" 

"Yiren." 

"I DON'T-"

"I think I'm in love with you." 

Doongie meowed.
