A/N: this is kinda a filler chapter so.

1 year later.

"Gwen, if anything happens with dad, please do not hesitate to call me." Finney says, holding onto the sides of Gwen's face.

"I promise I will Finney, don't worry." Gwen says, honesty showing all over her face.

"If you need money too, don't hesitate to call me." Finney adds, mind whirring with worry.

"Finney. I promise." Gwen says, sighing. Finney gives a hesitant nod, slowly letting go of Gwen's face.

"I'll try to visit atleast one weekend a month, i'll let you know when." Finney says, throwing his backpack into the passenger seat of his car.

Gwen nods, a sad smile on her face. Finney turns around to face Gwen again, immediately bringing her into a tight hug.

"I'll miss you Gwen." Finney says, rubbing Gwen's back in a comforting way. "I'll miss you too Finney." Gwen reply's, squeezing Finney tighter.

Finney pulls away, ruffling Gwen's hair, making her groan. He laughs, looking back up towards his house. He sees his dad watching from the porch, smoking a cigarette.

Finney frowns slightly, he knew his dad wouldn't give a shit about him leaving. He never even said anything when Finney found out he got accepted into one of his dream colleges.

Finney lets out a deep breath, "I'll call you when i get there okay?" He tells Gwen. "Sounds good." Gwen says, sending him a thumbs up.

Finney nods, hesitantly walking to the drivers side of his car. Finney gives one last wave, before getting in. He sighs, and begins to drive away.

Gwen stays put on the sidewalk, watching Finney until she can't see him anymore.
