Pairing: Izuku x Mitsuki

 The sounds of an older man cursing at a seagull for stealing his food echoes around the pier above the waves. Other gulls and birds flying after the one that had stolen the hot dog trying to get a bite at the stolen food. The roar of the waves and cool breeze off the pacific ocean cools the beach goers of Dagobah in east Musutafu. The day in June was hot, even by summer's standards, leading most of the residents of this sea-side town to make their way down to the many beaches and inlets along the coast. A young green haired man walks hurriedly back towards an older green haired woman and a taller blonde woman with their food, being careful not to allow the gulls to nab any from his hands. With a flick of condensed air, he knocks a gull away from their food as it attempts to dive bomb them and steal the BBQ squid that they had purchased.

"Pesky seagulls. Scram! You rats with wings!" He curses at them flicking another condensed bolt of air at the flying scavengers.

"Izuku, stop pestering the gulls, they won't steal your food if you eat it before they can." His mother tells him to stop before handing him a shishkabob of teriyaki chicken and BBQ squid and a ball of Onigiri. The young hero in training rushes over to the table and sets aside the food for his mother and their guest with them.

"They'll learn when you blast the flying vermin into next week. I really hate these stupid birds." The blonde woman grumbles before sparking an explosion in her hand as a warning to the gulls circling the pier. "You know what? I think a loud enough bang will scare them away."

"Mitsuki Do-" Inko was cut off by the voluptuously thicc woman extending her dominant arm in the air and setting off a loud bang with her quirk. People around her scream from the sudden noise but the birds soon fly away no longer pestering the pedestrians.

"Much better, easier than shooting them out of the sky one by one Izuku." She grins before grabbing a larger tentacle from the squid and slurping it down like a piece of spaghetti.

"Ahh~ Seafood by the beach is the best!" Izuku nods in agreement with Mitsuki as he makes himself comfortable beside her and divulges into his own food.

"It's too bad Katsuki couldn't come. Didn't he go on some boys only trip abroad with a few of his friends from UA?" Inko takes a sip from her water bottle to wash down her most recent bite of food while Izuku nods.

"Yup! Kacchan was dragged along by Kirishima, Sero, Kaminari and Tetsutetsu to I-Island for this year's I-Expo. Todoroki and Iida also went as representatives for their families, so it's just the seven of them alone to do whatever they want." Mitsuki leans onto Izuku's shoulder as she adjusts her seating position and cackles at the thought of her son being left alone to do anything.

"I feel bad for everyone Katsuki's gonna come across, I'm sure he's yelling at some poor waitress right now as we speak!" Izuku blushes, feeling Mitsuki press herself up against him, but he doesn't point it out or tell her to move. "That brat. I have no idea where I went wrong with him. We have the same quirk but for some reason, just because he thinks he has the power to just blow up all his problems, life is going to hand him everything on a silver platter. It especially angered me how he treated Izuku before he got his quirk. The little bastard doesn't even realise his own grandfather is quirkless."

"Wait, Bastard? I thought you and Marasu were married?"

"Not any more we're not plus that little shit came out when I was still at UA. I'm not going to go into details. Most you need to know is that Katsuki was the bulk of the reason why we got divorced." Her voice seemed almost apologetic but the way she had explained that she was divorced now made it clear to Izuku that she had no regrets.
