"So mom meet minho hyung and minho hyung, this is my mom" I introduced them to each other, i noticed that minho hyung was so stiff , so i gave him a reassuring smile, he returned a soft grin.
"Ohh! So you finally found yourself a boyfriend! And he's handsome too! I'm so proud of you my boy, you actually do have standards!" I widened my eyes at my mom's assumptions, can this get any more embarrassing? "N-no! Its not like that between us, we're just...friends..".
When that thaught finally hit me, i suddenly realized we were nothing more than bare friends, yes i do love him, but he never said it himself that he felt the same way, then.. did that kiss mean nothing?
"Dont try to fool me, friends don't look at each other like that, you know you can tell me-" OH PLEASE MOM FOR GOD'S SAKE- "SOOoo.. when did the doctors say you could go home?" i interrupted her, trying not to cause any more embarassment.
"Oh.. i don't know, you can go ask them for me-" "ok mom! I'll be right back!", I dragged minho hyung out of the room with me, releasing a big sight after i slowly closed the door, when i looked at him, he was chuckling and looking at me, "i-im sorry hyung, my mom is... A bit keen on seeing me get a boyfriend, so she just assumed...t-that, you were.. you know-" he interrupted me with a mischievous smirk "your boyfriend?", Even though he probably didn't mean anything, i felt my face heat up, and as the stupid person i am, i had to make it even more obvious that i was flustered for nothing, as i hesitantly nodded, avoiding his eyes at all costs, instead i looked around the hallway as if a pokémon would suddenly pop out.
Author's pov:
Minho got closer to the younger's ear, then whispered softly but clearly "you know.. I'm not against the idea", that left jisung's eyes wide open, not expecting the other's words "w-what.. do you mean..?"
Even though minho seemed cool on the outside, he was actually very nervous about confessing to jisung, he was just quite good at hiding emotions, even tho that capacity was harder to use in the other's presence.
"What i mean is..-" "Hi, are you the son of the patient inside this room?" Jisung flinched in surprise, not expecting the nurse's presence, 'why did she have to come RIGHT NOW- and what does minho hyung mean by not against the idea-' the brunette thaught to himself before answering the woman in front of him.
"Ah- um.. yeah I'm han jisung, can i know when my mom would be able to return home?"
"You don't have to worry in the slightest, your mother is doing perfectly fine right now, so she can go anytime" she informed, creating a wide grin on the youngest's lips as he happily thanked her for her service before she left.
The room's door suddenly opened, revealing jisung's step father, the boy's smile completely dropped, and minho noticed that, "oh jisung! You didn't greet me earlier, but of course its because you were very concerned about your mom, right?" Jisung didn't answer, instead he glared at him, but the latter continued, while putting his hand on the younger's shoulder " long time no see! Didn't you miss me, son?".
Even though it was such a normal situation, minho could feel the tension between the two males. Jisung harshly removed his 'step father's' hand from his own shoulder, he didn't even consider him as a member of the family, " what now? Son? Doesn't he have any shame left in him? After all he did behind my mother's back and the other things he did to me? How could he still have the courage to call me son? Or even talk to me?" Jisung thaught, he wanted to expose him in front of his mom so bad, but he had to keep quiet.. for his mother's own sake, "I'm not your son, and no. I didn't miss you". Jisung then pulled minho inside the room with him, leaving the oldest behind.
