So Junghwan, just a normal and regular 3rd year college student, wanting to finally graduate and get himself a decent job, so that he can prove to his cold as ice parents that he can also be a responsible human being just by living alone, and be the next CEO of his father's company.
Sure they are wealthy, but junghwan wanted that decision anyway, he doesn't want to grow up being a spoiled brat like his classmates who just didn't care about being responsible and do what's best for their future.
One day, it was a lovely weekend, and of course, he decided to take a walk down the streets for awhile. After all, it's been so long that he's gone outside for a chill and fine day with no homework given, and he has nothing to do to get out of boredom.
He wore an oversized grey hoodie, and went out of his apartment for a walk.
It was a really good day for the latter, the sun shining brightly, autumn leaves falling down, and only a few people walking by which really glads him since he doesn't like crowded people.
The boy suddenly halted his steps when he heard something meowing from above. He lifted his head up, and wandered his eyes until he found a poor kitty stuck up in a tree.
The kitty kept meowing, asking for help to get down, not until he spotted a guy in a grey hoodie looking at him, and he also did the same.
He stopped meowing for a bit, then realized that someone finally saw him, hoping for the stranger to get him down safely.
As much as junghwan wants to continue his walk and just ignore the cat, he just couldn't leave him on top of that tree. So he went to the tree and reached both of his hands to get the cat, who is hesitating because of the fear of falling down
"Come here, don't worry, I won't hurt you. I'm gonna get you down safely, I promise."
It took for the cat some time when he finally let junghwan take him and safely placed the cat to the ground, but it started meowing again but loudly this time when it's left paw touched the ground.
Junghwan was worried that he might did something to the cat, but he was shocked that he didn't noticed that the poor helpless cat was injured. Junghwan has a soft spot for animals, even when he was young, he just couldn't resist them.
"Poor thing, i wanna take you home and treat you but, where is your owner? And don't you have a colar?"
"That cat is a stray my dear."
Someone abruptly said that, and made the guy flinch. He turned his head to the side and saw an old lady holding a lot of cats.
"w-who are you?" Junghwan asked "I'm Old Jackie, my dear, oh but you don't have to know me, I just wanna say that this poor thing is a stray cat, he spends most of the time here in this neighborhood looking for a home, and of course I really want to keep him, but as you can see right here I already have a a lot of furballs to take care of at my old age
but what I mean to say was, you wouldn't mind if you could keep and adopt him for me hmm? Give him a nice and a safe home to stay, a good food to eat, and an owner who would give him so much love that he ever deserves."
Junghwan really felt awful if he'll just decline the old and kind lady's offer, and he is also sad for the injured cat, so he answered "okay then, I'll keep him, after all i live alone in my apartment and it definitely keeps getting lonely and lonelier day by day."
Junghwan gently picked up the cat by his arms and waved goodbye to the old lady, but before he could go, the old lady suddenly yelled "wait! Before you leave, I just want you to know, that cat is special! Take good care of him for me okay?"
