The wave of a curtain

Music strikes the air, the orchestra is ready to perform. The audience noise, ceases as the young and beautiful Anna Nash floats onto the stage. The crowd claps as she ascends to the center of the fine wooded floor. Carefully lit candles hidden from the audience, lights up the stage and makes her look as though she is a dream. Every seat in the auditorium is filled. The balconies are graced with the rich men and women of Europe. Everybody who is anybody is here to listen to the wonderfully famous Ms. Nash. The orchestra's conductor, a man of great stature, is waiting for Anna's gesture to start. The music enriches the room. After a few minutes of glorious music, the most wonderful and perfect sound appeared, her voice was like a stringed instrument, but yet like a waterfall. Her angelic voice captivated the audience, and the attention of a man in the third balcony.He was known for his independent wealth, his good-looks and his actions. He wore the latest fashion from France.
The song came to a close, and the audience cheered. The young man loudly whistled and yelled, "Bravo, bravo!"
Anna bowed and left the stage. Her maid, whose name is Lily, was awaiting her arrival in her dressing room. The room was filled with flowers of various colors and sizes.

"Ms. Nash, the flowers are beautiful, are they not?" the maid said in her French accent.
"Yes they are" she replied in a bored tone of voice.
"Then what is the matter? All of Europe loves you."
"I- I feel like something is missing."
"Ow, it is not the luggage, for it is upstairs in your hotel sweet, and I do believe I had brought every thing you had asked for Madame."
"No," she replied " I mean something is missing in my life." She paused to see if Lily would catch on. She grew impatient. Then Anna said"love! I want love"
As she finished her sentence, a knock was at the window.
