"NANEJONG? (where is she) I HAVEN'T HEARD from her, Frankie." Nicky concerningly asked, and Frankie was confused.
"I haven't either, Nick. She was supposed to be here hours ago." Frankie was trying not to freak out when her sister was nowhere to be found at the airport. "I told her Nick, I told her not to meet Frank. That must have been where she planned to go."
"She promised to text me when she's off the plane-"
"I know, Nicky. She was supposed to text me too." She tried not to get angry, but the deep concern in her big brothers voice made her defensive.
Kallik, Frankie's sister, was supposed to stay with Frankie for a week to help her settle in.
She felt lost, and defeated. But, the only thing she could do was talk to any supervisor, manager or anyone in charge to help her.
"Could someone help me? My sister is missing. She was supposed to be here hours ago." Frankie managed to stay calm. She tried her best not to yell, freak out and cry.
The receptionist nonchalantly answered, "what's her name? Flight number?"
She was pissed the woman didn't show a shed of compassion, but nevertheless, Frankie told her any information she could give. The receptionist explained to her that she arrived at the airport around 3pm, and left with a couple men. "We thought those were her boyfriends, keepers or something."
She would have murdered the receptionist if she could, after listening to her spew more racist remarks. She plead for a description of the two men, and she went off.
That was the only thing Frankie remembered from the three weeks she was AWOL.
As Frankie woke up, she felt confused. She was feeling sweaty, nervous and scared. As if she had just woke up from a nightmare. She hadn't noticed she jolted up until she saw Matt groggily wipe his eye, and prop himself up on his elbow.
"Is everything okay, Frankie?" He asked.
"I... don't know." She looked around and finally noticed she was in Matt's bed, and had remembered her delightful night. Only to be ruined by a painful nightmare, and reality. "My sister, Kallik, was supposed to meet me at the airport three weeks ago. I... I don't remember what happened after I went to find her."
Matt speedily got up, and dressed himself.
"Where are we going?" Frankie asked, shuffling to get her legs into her sweatpants.
"To find your sister."
"Can I at least put different clothes on?" She said, walking past Matthew.
He followed as they stopped into Frankie's apartment. Once she opened the door and walked to her closet, she noticed a chest that she couldn't remember why it was there. She curiously opened it, revealing a map with different red dots on it and photos of Frank Castle and the guys she believed he was going after. Under all those papers, she found a sort of cat suit and two bloodied ulus wrapped in a protective cloth.
"WHERE IS FRANK CASTLE?" She yelled towards a man, who she had cornered in an ally.
"I- I don't know man! I'm just the messenger!" He said, panicked.
She grunted, and swiftly moved each ulu to slit his arms.
The man screamed at the pain.
Frankie was breathing heavily, and she hadn't noticed that she was zoned out.
"Frankie, Frankie what's wrong?" Matt had knelt beside her, trying to snap her out of it.
