(TRIGGER WARNING)
(Suicide)Siren sat in his room. Still, silent. He wondered where the scary men had took Kappa. He wondered if Kappa was safe. He was extremely worried. He heard the door click open and a woman with a black dress and long red hair walked in holding a clipboard and dragging a chair behind her. "Hello. My name is Kate Bonson and I'm here to ask some questions. I don't mean any harm, so please answer truthfully." She said, sitting down in the chair. "What's your name?" She asked first. "Siren." He answered. "And your last name?" "I don't remember." She narrowed her eyes at him and then looked at his long hair tied into a braid. "That looks nice.. did someone do it recently?" Siren nodded. "Yeah? Who did it?" She asked. "My boyfriend." He answered, reaching over and holding his braid in his hand. "Oh, your boyfriend?" Siren nodded again. "Yeah. He's the best." She looked down at the clipboard and then back up at him. "Okay.. what's your boyfriends name?" She asked. "Oh. It's Kappa." She froze. "Kappa? You mean the one who was found with you?" Siren nodded, with a confused look on his face. "No wonder he fought back.." she whispered. "Fought back? You took him against his will?" Siren narrowed his eyes at her. "Did you hurt him?" He asked. "Well.. he was struggling a lot and-" "DID YOU HURT HIM?" Siren growled. She looked up at him nervously. "We knocked him out. That's all." She said. "So, you hit him over the head with enough force to knock him out correct?" She nodded. Siren glared at her. "Where is he-" Siren was interrupted by a beep on her walkie-talkie. "All agents ready. There is a teenage boy standing on top of a building, he's going to jump. I'll send the location." Both of them froze. "I'm gonna need to take this." She whispered. "Do you think it's.." She looked over at Siren, who looked terrified. "Most likely." She turned and opened the door to leave. "Please take me with you!" Siren yelled. "I still want to help, even if it isn't him."
Kappa sat up on the edge, kicking his legs and looking down at the crowd of people gathered to watch his death. "Heh. You only love them when they want to kill themselves." Kappa whispered to himself. "Oh god. What the hell am I waiting for?" He looked up at the sun setting behind the mountains in the distance. It was beautiful. He felt so.. warm. And for once, without his beloved friend, boyfriend, he felt Happy. He felt real happiness. He felt tears stream down his face, but he wasn't sad. "Oh this is it! This is it!" He yelled, standing up and waving his arms in the air. "I'm happy!" He took a big leap off the edge and smiled. He didn't mind the cold air going through his clothes, he liked how cold it was. All the screams on the ground were blocked out, giving him a peaceful silence to drown out his crying.
Both Siren and the woman ran outside. He followed her as she went in the direction of a strange vehicle. He knew that it wasn't fast enough. He walked over and picked her up "I can run faster." He said.
Both Siren and the woman had gotten there just in time. Siren looked up at Kappa sitting up on the edge nervously. Okay Siren.. it's okay... it's okay.. he said to himself. He grew even more nervous seeing Kappa stand up and turn around towards the sunset. And then he turned around, he was smiling. Not a creepy, or a fake smile, but a genuine one. He was.. happy. Siren watched in horror as Kappa took on step off the edge and fell. No no no no no no no no no no.. wait.. "undo my wing bindings!" Siren yelled at the woman. "What?! Are you insane?!" She yelled back. "Yes I am. My boyfriend is falling from a building and if I don't do something he's going to die." She quieted down. "Okay." Siren bent down and she unlocked the clasp binding his wings. As soon as he was free he leaped into the air and reached for Kappa. His wing still stung from the poison ivy, but he stayed strong. He felt a wave of relief wash over him once he grabbed tightly onto Kappa and held him close to his chest. He landed on the rough ground and set Kappa down. He looked both angry and happy to see him. "Why didn't you let me die!" Kappa yelled, his voice trembling. "I can't just stand by and watch you kill yourself Kappa.." Siren said back. "Stop it.. stop it! Don't make me get my hopes up I can't afford to loose someone again!" Kappa gripped his hair tightly in his hands, furiously pulling at it. Siren grabbed his wrists and pulled his hands away. "Stop. Please stop." He whispered. "Go ahead and hate me all you want, I'm not gonna let you die." At first Kappa looked mad, and then he started crying again. He took a few steps, and then wrapped his arms around Siren tightly. "Fuck you.." he whispered. Siren held him gently and wrapped his wings around them both, Cause you know, Kappa likes the dark.
