The Murder

Nathan's Pov:

I woke up to my phone ringing in the middle of my nap. I picked it up wondering who it was. "Hello..?" The person on the other end asked "Are you Nathan Hammond?" I replied with a confused sounding "yes??" The person said "Officer Shana here I found your girlfriend dead on bulldog lane..." My widen hearing that "WHAT!!" I screamed. The officer asked "Hey will you please meet me at bulldog lane..?" I said "I'll be there as I quick as I can.." I hung up the phone quickly and got my Police outfit on. I quickly rushed to my car to drive to the address the officer+ gave me. When I got there there was tarp over this area on bulldog. I sighed almost crying because the tarp was over my girlfriend's body. I walked up to the officer. The officer said "Hey so um probably heartbreaking to you but also can you get ahold of Suvonna I need her here to...?" I said "yeah give me a sec." I called Suvonna and explained everything to her and not long after she arrived at the area. Suvonna hugged me crying and I hugged her back trying to process Khloe is gone. The officer came up to us and said "We need to look under the tarp for to see how see how she died.." I randomly said "Why did you wait until we got here..?" Then the officer replied with "Because its easier with more help.." then I said "Do you think anyone at the middle school which not far up bulldog lane has to do with this?" The officer sigh then said "We'll see about that later but let's lift up the tarp. So me, Suvonna and officer lifted the tarp. My heart broke at the sight of this. Khloe's body just laying there in her own pool of blood. I went over to her first. I put gloves on not because Khloe is nasty but like its required plus its a dead body god knows what's been on it. Everyone examined Khloe's body and they found 2 stab wounds on her stomach and and one gun shot wound on her chest. I broke down crying holding my girlfriend's body. Eventually they were gonna have to take her body to the morgue and do an autopsy and so I put her body down and Me and Suvonna wanted to interview the Middle school and the high-school since they were both on bulldog lane and weren't far from each other. I asked Suvonna "Which school should we interview first?" Suvonna said well let's try the Middle School first." I said "Well if her body was here this morning then someone would of noticed while dropping their kids off or a staff member or something would of noticed.." Suvonna agreed with me. Me and her continued walking to the Middle School until we got there. We rung the door bell. They let us in and they seemed surprised because we in our cop uniforms. We walked into the office. We explained hiw we found a dead body near your school and we need interview all the staff. I sighed knowing this was gonna be a long day for everyone. The principal knew it was gonna take all day so they decided to let all the students go home which took forever already because they had to call all the busses for the bus riders to get home. Then they had to call all the walkers and rider student's parents to come pick them up. They finally got everyone out of there so then The principle got everyone to the gym.

5 hours later

Damn I thought that took forever. Me and Suvonna were about to leave the school when This random teacher Mr.Smith came up to us and quietly said "If you don't find Khloe's murderer in 3 months I will kill you myself!" Me and Suvonna hurriedly nod and walked away quickly. We kinda shrugged it off not really thinking about it. We walked out of the school. "Wonder why Mr.Smith said that..." Suvonna said "Same.." Anyways we walked over to our cars. Suvonna then popped up saying "Do you think Mr.Smith actually means that?" I replied with "Sadly enough yeah..." We both went home and  I went and took off my uniform and laid on my bed. I looked through my texts from Khloe and I thought there were no new texts from her. Wrong there was one my heart broke reading it.

Khloe: Hey babe.                            9:00pm
Nathan: Hey how are you doing 9:10

I started crying heavily. "IF ONLY I HADN'T WENT BACK TO SLEEP!!!!" I screamed crying heavily. I layer back in my bed trying to keep my mind off of it. I say a knife and I was like "Maybe I deserve this..." I grabbed the knife holding it on my wrist. I made one slit on my wrist then I put the knife up. I laid on my bed until darken finally overcame me.
