When I'm Alone

When I'm alone,

I let loose the thoughts I find terrifying,

And allow myself to drown in the sea of sorrow,

When I'm alone,

The unbearable pain become satisfying,

I exhale a relief full sigh,

When I'm alone,

Around me saviours do not belong,

My sanity is my own to sustain,

When I'm alone,

My cries compose a symphony of a broken song,

Sung by the heavy clouds on a mournful day,

When I'm alone,

The oblivion beckons, I answer the call,

The darkness is where I'm entertained,

When I'm alone,

Their regret makes me stand tall,

Slightly lightens the burden on my heart,

When I'm alone,

I lose the soothing ability to cry,

Beginning to choke on the overwhelming felling of dismay,

When I'm alone,

Inside me burns a raging desire to defy,

Every attempt to put it out is in vain,

When I'm alone,

I'm just alone,

Exhaustingly alone.
