Elmira and Beatrix strutted into the Alumni Banquet arm-in-arm; heads turned at the sound of their entrance as the guards notified Rosalind. The blonde girl's eyes scanned the room, immediately recognizing the guests as people who were secretly aligned with Rosalind and her original mission to take-over Alfea. "Well, this is going to be fun." The air fairy whispered, earning a small laugh from her best friend as she shook her head. "I can think of at least a dozen things I'd rather be doing right now."  The ice fairy voiced, rolling her eyes at the formalities in front of her.

"Looks like it's your unlucky day then." Beatrix mused, motioning her head towards the left hand-side of the entry where Rosalind had made herself known. "Elmira. Beatrix. So lovely to see the both of you have made up." The older woman spoke, her naturally condescending tone on full display for the girls. "You know us, Rosalind. We'll always find a way back to each other." The ice fairy spoke, knowing if Beatrix tried to sass the older woman it would only result in further punishment to their father-figure.

"Apparently so." The headmistress mused, a smirk appearing on her face before she stepped forward and moved her hand to the ice fairy's back. "Come with me Elmira. There's people I want you to meet."

Before the blonde got a second to farewell her best friend or question the headmistress, she was already being led into the VIP section of the Alumni. "What am I? A trophy?". The ice fairy quietly snapped, knowing not to draw attention to the pair but still communicating how unhappy she was with the headmistress' actions. "Tonight. You are." The comment caused the girl to roll her eyes, purposely freezing her body temperature down she smirked as the older woman let out a slight hiss of pain. "Be on your best behavior Elmira. You don't want to make me angry."

Rounding the corner, the blonde girl's eyes settled on those of Bloom's fiery red hair. Letting out an annoyed huff the ice fairy looked between the pair in anticipation for an explanation. "Bloom. How kind of you to listen to my instructions. The two of you will present your best front to our guests. I don't want to hear a single bit of bickering or arguing. Tonight, means more than some silly teenage dramas." As Rosalind spoke the two fairies followed the woman up the stairs, glancing suspiciously towards the other in an attempt at figuring out their motives.

"Don't tell anyone, but I absolutely loathe these things." The headmistress attempted to joke, sparing a brief look behind her to ensure her best students were following her commands. "Money and status. Status and money. What a dreadful existence." Elmira rolled her eyes at the woman's words, fighting everything inside her to not let out a laugh at the comment. "But... you need them to vote you in."

Bloom's first contribution of the night caused the ice fairy to momentarily pause, part of the blonde was impressed with how the fire fairy had prepared herself for the evening, the other part of her was just frustrated she had to deal with her sucking up to the headmistress the entire night. "I do, I do." Rosalind confirmed, sending false smiles towards those she passed by. "Which is why I'd like the both of you to be by my side today."
