the next morning in the stark roger's house was tense no one dared to talk about what happened last night until Steve handed Quinn the keys to the van and told him to take his siblings out of the house for the morning. after everyone left, Gwen was left sitting on the couch in the living room sulking knowing a lecture was coming her way.
"How could you do something so reckless; do you even know how dangerous the city is at night, all of this, and for what?"
"Dad please I told you I can explain really I can I just went into town with johnny we went to see a midnight premiere movie and came straight home that's it."
" Funny I almost certain that when your grounded that means no movies and no friends your siblings understood that which is why they're not grounded anymore you young lady are now grounded for another week and will not be leaving this house for anything other than school.''
"BUT THATS NOT FAIR i have a decathlon outing this week -"
"Oh, really maybe you should have thought of that before running off in the middle of the night.''
"I hate you!" she screamed before rushing upstairs slamming her bedroom door.
"Well, that went well '' Steve sighed hugging tony from behind "you, okay?"
"Yeah, I just don't get it Shes so smart and independent how could she do something so stupid."
"I really don't know."
with that the two headed off to do chores and other things that needed to be done.
However, the next day hadn't been much better Gwen was refusing to talk with anyone the picture-perfect sullen teen.
and quinton couldn't help but pick on his sister questioning where she had been and why little miss perfect would sneak out of the house.
Gwen's Pov
I couldn't believe this my dad's were being totally unfair; I had tried to explain why I went with Johny but neither one of them wanted to hear it.
and now I was grounded for longer than my siblings which was totally unfair!
"So, Gwen where'd you and johnny go off to smooch oh or were you dumb enough to sneak out for one of your science things."
"SHUT UP Quin "
everyone went silent. "Okay sorry geez cranky much."
the rest of the week had been brutal Gwen had missed her decathlon trip and instead spent the weekend doing a bunch of chores with her pops.
but at the end of it she was let off her grounding and went back to being Steve and Tonys smart sweet girl.
