Love or run?

Not this again

Ariel hated going into town, there were always so many humans there. More humans meant more of a chance of hurting someone. She lived so far out of the way for a reason. She was afraid of hurting people. Ever since she was little she had troubles controlling her blood lust.

When she was 7 she had accidentally killed one of her neighbors when they had come over for a visit. After that Ariel's parents had decided to take her and move as far away from people as possible. Ariel didn't really mind being so far away from people. She actually liked having so much space. She was happy again for the first time since the accident. Her happiness however got stopped dead in its tracks when some humans came to the house because they were lost. Ariel ended up killing all of them. She completely drained their blood.

Ariel was terrified of herself and the powers that she had. At the age of 10 she locked herself in her room and refused to come out afraid that she might lose control of herself and kill her family.

Sadly on her 13th birthday her one true nightmare came true. When she came out of her room to join her parents at the dining room table for dinner her father accidentally dropped a glass on the floor and it shattered. When he went to pick up the pieces one cut him and he started bleeding. The second the smell of blood got to Ariel she went crazy. She killed both of her parents. When she realized what she had done she started bawling. She hated herself for what she had done. She buried her parents in the back yard and made a cute memorial for them.

10 years have passed since that day but Ariel still found herself thinking about then crying by herself. She didn't have any friends that she could talk to because she always tried to distance herself from others. She wanted so bad to be a normal girl. She even wished that she was human sometimes so she wouldn't have to worried about her crazy blood lust.

If Ariel didn't have to go shopping once a week for groceries and stuff then she would never leave the house. As Ariel entered the store she kept her head down so she wouldn't make eye contact with anyone.

Ariel got everything she needed then rushed out of the store. She thought that she had made it out of the store without incident but that thought disappeared quickly when she ran into someone knocking them both on the ground.

"Are you okay?" A male voice asked.

"I-I'm s-sorry" Ariel said looking at the man she had just run into. He was standing up and holding out his hand to help her up. She hesitated before taking his hand. He helped her up then helped her pick up the stuff she dropped.

"Th-thank you." Ariel said wanting to get away as fast as possible.

"Your welcome." the man said with a smile.

He handed her her bags. She took them then ran home at vampire speed without saying another word to the man. When she got home she slammed the door shut behind her. She was so glad that she got away from the human without incident.

Later that day Ariel was making dinner when she heard a knock on the door. She hesitated not wanting to answer the door, but she didn't like to be rude so she went and answered the door.

When she answered the door a man wearing a black hooded jacket knocked her out. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. He carried her into town. He took her to an abandoned part of town. He took her into one of the buildings and chained her arms to the wall.

Ariel woke up after a few hours. She stood up and looked around. She rubbed her head then realized that she was chained up. She looked around in a panic trying to figure out were she was but she had no idea.

The man that knocked her out came in. He took his hood off then Ariel recognized him. He was a vampire who had been after her power. He wanted to use her power to take over the world.

"So have you decided to join me." He asked walking up to her with a knife.

"Never!" Ariel said her eyes starting glow red with anger.

"I knew that you would make this fun." He said smirking viciously. He cut her arm and she cried out in pain.

"You will agree to join me or you will die. Either way it doesn't matter." He said cutting her again.

The smell of blood filled the room as the man cut Ariel more and more. At this point she didn't care if her blood lust drove her crazy she wanted him to stop cutting her.

Eventually he did stop cutting her but he wasn't done hurting her. He knew that if she wanted to get out she could easily break her chains. He knew this all to well its how she managed to escape him the last time he had captured her. Knowing this I broke her leg so that even if she broke free she couldn't get very far.

Ariel screamed in pain when he broke her leg. She was in so much pain from all the cuts he gave her. She tried to hold the tears back. She didn't want to cry especially in front of him. He gets pleasure from hurting others.

Ariel totally blacked out but not in an unconscious way. Her blood lust had taken over. When Ariel's blood lust took over she was stronger than ever. Her eyes were glowing an even brighter red than before because of the blood lust.

The man knew exactly what was going on and started backing away from her. Ariel broke her chains and glared at the man.

"You know I never really meant to hurt you right. I-I would like us to work together. We we can r-rule the world together." He said desperately trying to protect his life. He knew he was no match for Ariel when she was like this.

Ariel smirked at him,"your begging pathetically for your life but it is all in vein." She said then grabbed him.

"P - please don't hurt me. I - I'll never bother you again I pr-promise." He begged not caring about how pathetic he sounded.

"To late." Ariel said then bit his throat. She didn't drink his blood but she did yank his throat out killing him.

Ariel limped out of the building and fainted.
