Chapter Twenty~Six

Gabriella's POV:

We arrived at my pack and it's just how it was when I left.

I missed it but not the people in it, they didn't even noticed their next alpha was gone.

Everyone greeted us as we came out of the car that drove us here.

My hand is linked with Trisha's since am scared of whatever is going on here.

We were seated in some chairs together waiting for my fath- the alpha of the pack.

His no longer my father, I don't even want to call him that.

The bell rang an everyone's eyes went towards it to see my father standing there.

He scanned the crowd like he was looking for someone but then looked but up and cleared his throat.

"Welcome to Rusty Hills pack ladies and gentlemen, we are all gathered here for the yearly werewolf event thrown to show peace. Thanks again for showing up we really appreciate it. " he said and then behind him Lynne came out.

She was stunning and as much as I hate to say this I missed her.

She looked very happy as she waved to the crowd.

"She will be hosting this party and if you need anything please don't hesitate to meet her. " my fath- the alpha said.

Him and Lynne walked out and the party continued.

This is suppose to go one for six more hours then we're gone, so I should just not show my face to them.

But my plan like always would go done the hill.

Alpha Grayson walked up to us and handshaked Matteo who smiled to him.

Everyone stood up and greeted him except me.

Matteo understand and he stood front of me so alpha Grayson won't see me.

But he did.

'Is it too late to run away? ' Ashley asked.

Yep, you should have done so since we arrived!!

Now I felt like slapping Trisha and my soo called mate.

"Who's this? " he asked.

He didn't even recognized his own daughter, such a father!

"She's my mate. " Matteo said and carried me up.

But my face has it's own mind as it looks at the ground instead of alpha Grayson's face.

"She's pretty. " he said.

Thank goddess he didn't ask to look at me.

"Thank you. " I mumbled quietly.

The conversation went on and Trisha pulled me from there thank goddess.

"You're a life saver but you caused this!! " I yelled.

"I didn't, Matteo said to shut up. " she defended.

As we continued to bicker back and forth we heard a way too familiar squeal.

I turned to see Lynne!!!

"Is that you Gabby?!! " she yelled and then rushed to hug me.

But Trisha stood in front of us blocking her.

"Am her dog, no? Am her best friend stupid. " Lynne said sarcastically.

"Well that's the problem with you guys and english. You're here ex best friend. " Trisha corrected.

"If you'll please excuse me I want to talk to Gabby. " she said.

"Don't call me that, only close friends do. " I stated and gently pushed Trisha aside.

"What do you mean? " Lynne asked confused.

"You didn't bother to call me for two months and even blocked me from all your social media accounts. I saw you were really happy up there not even concerned about your best friend, oh wait ex best friend. You didn't even made a search party for me, I could have been lost out there and you would be in here celebrating. " I stated all at once forcing tears not to drop from my eyes.

"It's not like that, I tried searching for you but your father wanted me to become the next alpha of the pack and told me to forget about you. " she said. "He said you're living a fancy life and he made sure of that and I thought-" Trisha interrupted her.

"And you thought her father was secretly taking care of her, wow. " she clapped sarcastically.

People have gathered to see what was going on and I didn't care.

"Who are you to her anyways?! " Lynne asked angered by Trisha.

"She's my best friend, in fact we're sisters. " Trisha said throwing her hands over my shoulder.

"You've forgotten about me for just two months? " she asked sad.

"You forgot me too Lynne, where's blake huh?!! " I asked now angry.

"He doesn't give a fuck if you're alive!! I was the one who tried searching for you but you changed your phone and I couldn't reach you! " she yelled now attraction everyone.

Matteo came and he held me.

That's when Blake showed up and looked between me and Matteo then at Trisha and Lynne.

"Who is he? " he asked simply.

I scoffed and hold Matteo around his torso.

"He's my mate! What jealous? " I asked seeing the obvious.

"Yeah, I am jealous..... Get your hands off her! " he commanded Matteo who chuckled at him.

"That's the problem, I can't. " he said then kissed me.

I kissed him back and I saw red glow in from Blake.

"She has her own family now and doesn't need y'all fakers, so we're leaving. " Trisha said.

"She's not going anywhere! " both Lynne and Blake chanted.
