Addictions come in all shapes and sizes
As long as it gives you a dopamine rush
No one's the wiser when you get prizes
Through an internal chemical flush
Video games, alcohol, reading, and drugs
Once it catches on it burns like wildfire
On your brain it feels like crawling bugs
You gotta have it and so you become a liar
In a worst case you also become a thief
Anything to feed the addiction to feel
To feel something while causing grief
A compromise, a promise, and a deal
All of that does not matter in the end
All will break with your last breath
All your memories will start to blend
All addictions will lead to your death
