Title: Christmas Maricals

Quirk: Web spark- the ability to web things together like spider silk, then weld them together.

_______________

it was that time of the year again. Snow would fall for unpredictable hours or minutes of the day; the roads would freeze over and everything would be put off until the heroes came to thaw them out.  All over Japan shrines would be opening for the holidays, just waiting to be seen by yearly locals and tourists. The winter festivals would welcome everyone with open arms as we would watch lanterns being lit and sent off into the sky while others, friends and families would hang out in their homes, enjoying each other's company and the beauty of their Christmas trees and decorations.

Looking around town I smiled. So many local shops were already decorating. A few minor hero commissions were hanging decorations around the city, and it brought me joy to see such beautiful things finally being used. Breathing out, my breath turned frosty in the crisp winter air, the clouds blocking out any bit of sunlight we might have had today. Blinking out of my daze I pulled my gloves on tighter as I walked down the street to school. Last summer I had gotten accepted into UA into the support course, which is the class I had requested on my sheet. My friends in middle school didn't understand my desire to tinker with gadgets all day when I could be doing cool hero stuff, nor did I expect them to. It was an inquired taste, not many understood wanting to be on the helping sidelines of the battlefield instead of standing directly on a hidden minefield. Spotting Mei up ahead I quickened my pace, calling out for her. The pink haired girl turned and offered me a large smile as she wrapped what seemed to be her third scarf around her neck. "Don't you think you have enough of those?" I raised a brow. "In this weather? Of course not!" she denied, slinging an arm around my shoulders despite her being shorter than me by almost 4 inches.

Mei carried most of the conversation, though I threw a few things in from time to time. When UA came into sight, I noticed a duo standing by the large blue gates. Momo and Lida stood in front of each other chatting, each clad in their own winter clothes that were defiantly on the more expensive side. Momo glanced over Lida's shoulders and stood on her tiptoes to wave with a smile. I grinned and waved back. "I'll see you in class Mei, please don't destroy the shop before lunch," I joked as I ruffled her hair. "No promises, try not to get hypothermia Mr. student council president," she teased. I scoffed, pulling her beanie down over her eyes as I jogged away and up to the blue and black duo. "Good morning, Y/n!" Momo greeted as I slowed to a stop. "Good morning, Momo, Lida," I nodded. Lida smiled. "I'm pleased to work with both of you on this," he began. "Now, shall we start by assigning ourselves a handful of tasks?" he asked. I shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me, whatever you guys want to do is fine with me, though it's probably better to get the rest of the council together so we can head off in groups, that way we can cover more area in a shorter amount of time." "Yes, that sounds perfect," Momo agreed, Lida nodding along. I looked down at my watch and frowned. "Sorry guys, I'll have to catch up later, I'm meeting someone who needed an upgrade on their hero suit- see you in a few minutes?" Momo nodded with a sweet smile. "Why of course! You wouldn't want to be late to your appointment," Lida pushed his glasses up.
