Draco's POV

I wake up with Harry right next to me, in my arms. I can't help but smile to myself. He is so beautiful, but he's so insecure about himself. I have already made it my responsibility to tell him everyday how beautiful he is.

I hope it helps.

I stroke his hair and look around the room.

I look up at the clock. It's quite early. Breakfast won't be for another 2-3 hours.

I decide to try and fall back asleep. After what feels like an hour of failing, I decide just to read. The Room gives me a Potions book, one I have only considered reading until now.

I read until about it's about an hour before breakfast begins.

'Better wake Harry' I think to myself.

I kiss his head multiple times, but he doesn't even move, at all. This slightly worries me. He always wakes up after a few kisses to his head.

His lips are parted and he appears to be breathing. I kiss his head again.

Nothing.

I move down to his cheek, down to his jaw line.

Nothing.

I kiss his soft, delicate, lips. He starts moving.

Finally.

"Harry, come on. Get up. I've been trying to get you up for about 10 minutes. We need to get ready for breakfast."

"But, Draco.."

"Come on, Harry. I know you need your sleep, but you need food just as much. So do I. I can't move till you do."

He opens his eyes.

His beautiful, emerald green eyes.

I kiss his head again. I get to see his smile.

His beautiful, bright smile.

"You're so beautiful, you know that?"

His smile grows bigger.

"You tell me that everyday, Draco. I should know that by now. I'm not that stupid."

"You're not stupid. Just forgetful. You're intelligent, in your own way. You are beautiful. I love your beautiful smile, it lights up the room. Your beautiful eyes. The perfect shade of emerald green. I can never understand what you're so insecure about, you are incredibly beautiful."

"Thanks, but I have a lot more to be insecure about than you think.. Now let's get up, and get ready for breakfast."

I kiss his soft lips again, and we get up to get ready.

He showers and dresses, then I quickly get into the shower and dress, and we head out for breakfast.

Weasel and Hermione are already there, and so is Weaselette. Haven't seen her in a while. I think she still likes Harry, but she better not try and take him.

I know Harry wouldn't cheat on me. If he does go off kissing her again, it would probably be because of a love potion.

I'm too good to be cheated on.

I spot Pansy and Blaise and invite them over.

Pansy and Hermione are chatting away, while Weasel and Blaise just eat. Weaselette's gone. Leaving me to give all my attention to Harry, and Harry only.

He suddenly seems quite sad. He isn't eating, just looking down at his food. I catch his hand from under the table and his head shoots up.

"Sorry, Harry. I didn't mean to startle you. You seem sad, what's wrong? You aren't eating either."

"I'm fine, just thinking. I feel bad for Ginny, because-"

"Because she lost her chance to have the most beautiful boy possible?"

"That would be you. So, no. She isn't taking the break up well, but she said she supports me. She seems to be really struggling. Though I prefer you, I still feel guilty about breaking up with her."

"Harry, listen to me. You are too kindhearted for this world. You would date anyone if it kept them happy. While you want something else. I understand if you left me. I just want you to be happy. So answer me this, are you happy, Harry?"

To my surprise, and absolute delight, he does not hesitate with his answer.

"Of course I'm happy with you Draco. You are the only person I have ever truly loved and wanted. You helped me when nobody else did. You comforted me like nobody else could. You were there for me when nobody else was. I am so greatful for that."

I smile brighter then I feel I ever have in years. Something about the way he says it- it makes it feel true and genuine.

Harry starts eating as I finish up. I want to stay with him for as long as I can.

I remember we have Potions to start.

Harry finishes, and we head to the Dungeons. I clasp Harry's hand once we get there.

The Dungeons always reminded him of Snape, and The Battle. He always looks as if he's holding in tears, which, he is.

We walk in and sit together in our usual spot together. Professor Slughorn comes in and we start the lesson.

Harry suddenly grips my hand in the middle of it. I grin and we interlock fingers.

I glance back up at Slughorn and see him smiling brightly at us. He nods his approval and continues.

Finally, he dismisses the class. He asks Harry and I to stay back though. What could this be about?

After everyone leaves, he starts speaking.

"Mr. Potter, and Mr. Malfoy. I'm glad you are finally getting along after your previous rivalry, but, is your relationship going to keep you from learning in my class?"

"No sir, I apologize." Harry says, looking down at the floor.

"It isn't anything to apologize for, Mr. Potter, I just thought I ought to know. Now, Mr. Potter, you may leave. I'd like to talk to Mr. Malfoy for a second."

Harry leaves, and I can feel myself start to shake. I want him back.

"You aren't in trouble, Mr. Malfoy. It's alright. I would just like to know a couple of things. To start with, do you know if Mr. Potter is struggling? I can never seem to ask him myself, for he won't say."

"I do, in fact. Would you like to know?"

"It would certainly be helpful."

*After explaining*

"Oh dear. Alright. That's all I needed to know. I will let it slide if that's why you seem so distracted with him. You may go."

I walk out of the classroom and to my next class, Transfiguration. I step in and Professor McGonagall stops speaking.

"Thank you for joining us, Mr. Malfoy. Would you like to explain what was so important for you to be so late to class?"

"Er.."

"Slughorn had to talk to him, just as he did me, professor."

I look around to see Harry, politely raising his hand.

"Alright, alright. Now sit down Mr. Malfoy."

I slide over to Harry and sit next to him.

He smiles and quickly clutches my hand when I sit. I smile in return and we interlock fingers. I look back up to the front and McGonagall continues speaking.
