Unknown Number: Hey Shithead, where did you put my shoes that you borrowed? Give it back to me. I need it tomorrow. Don't let Dunce face wear it. He will tear it apart.
Izuku was baffled when he saw a message from an unknown number but he then concluded that the person got the number wrong. He decided to just let them know that they sent the message to the wrong person.
Izuku: Hello. I just want to tell you that you got the wrong guy.
Izuku replied and was about to go back to sleep when his phone vibrates once again.
Unknown Number: The f*ck Dude! Stop playing with me. This is definitely the number you gave me yesterday. Why do you even need to changed numbers anyway?
The person on the other side is definitely pissed off but Izuku couldn't care less. It's not his fault that this person's friend or something gave him the wrong number.
Izuku: Excuse me. I am not playing around. I am not really the person you're looking for or whatever. This number has been my number for two years now. Your friend gave you the wrong number Stranger.
The person on the other side is clearly pissed off after reading the message. He is definitely sure that Kirishima or Kaminari were playing games again and trying to prank him. They always do that.
Unknown Number: Well, I don't know about that. You Shitheads likes to prank me all the time. How can you prove to me that you aren't lying huh?
Now is Izuku's time to get pissed off. This stranger is getting on his nerves for some reason. He already explained it but the guy won't believe him. It's not even his fault that he got friends who likes to play around all the time but here he is, getting caught up.
Izuku: I don't have time for something like this. I have work tomorrow and I need to go to bed. Whether you believe me or not, it's not my problem anymore Mr. Stranger. Hope you get your shoes back.
Izuku replied once more before turning off his phone and he had fallen asleep afterwards.
The next morning, the moment Izuku opened his phone, he was bombarded by the messages the unknown number sent him.
Unknown Number: Oi Shitty Hair! Don't ignore me!
Unknown Number: Are you already asleed you shithead?
Unknown number: Okay, I just found out that I really got the wrong number. My friends are really idiots. Sorry about that. And also for wasting your time.
He sent more messages but when he realized that Izuku is not replying he stop messaging. Izuku sighs. Maybe he shouldn't have gotten mad at the person. It seems that he is having trust issues. Izuku laugh at that thought.
Izuku: It's fine. I was just tired so I kinda snapped at you😅. But it's fine. Hopefully you got back your shoes.
The moment Izuku sent it, he stood up and he is about to walk straight to the door when his phone dinged and when he saw the message, he smiled. For some reason, this person is someone who makes him feel weird.
Unknown Number: Good to know that you aren't mad. And no, I wasn't able to get back my shoes because my idioy of a friend can't find it.
Izuku giggled while reading the message. He find the person easy to talk to. Although he is a total stranger to him.
Izuku: Well, I can let you borrow mine but I don't even know you or maybe the size of my shoes were either too big or small.
Izuku replied and started biting his nails a little. The message is not very suggestive right? He hopes the stranger won't find him weird or something.
Unknown Number: Is that how you ask me for my name? Well, I am Katsuki Bakugo.
The stranger replied and Izuku's eyes were blown wide. Katsuki Bakugo. His childhood friend/ crush. He and Katsuki had known each other when they were three and were together until he was 10. Izuku's family suddenly need to move away from the town and that was the last time Izuku had seen his bestfriend. They never communicate because they didn't expect that Izuku won't be back in the town.
Izuku's heart were pounding in his chest. Is this fate? Fate that tells him to reconcile with his friend?
Izuku: Kacchan? I don't know if you remember me but, it's me, Izuku.
Izuku replied and started walking back and forth in his room. A chance to be able to reconnect with Kacchan again. He tried before but he got so busy with life and wasn't able to find time to contact Katsuki.
Unknown Number: Shit!? Is this you Deku? Oh man, it's been so long.
When Izuku saw Katsuki's message, he let out a sigh of relief. It seems Kacchan still remember him. And still call him that nickname.
Izuku: Yeah. It's me. It's really been so long. How are you?
Kacchan: Well, I'm fine. The same as ever. A year after your family left, I tried contacting you but can't contact you anymore. Damn dude, I freaking miss you. Btw, your shoes were probably too small for me.
Izuku rolled his eyes upon reading Katsuki's message. Same old Kacchan. Izuku giggled afterwards.
Izuku: I miss you too Kacchan. Hope to see you again. And yeah, my shoes is definitely too small for you.
A week had passed and finally, Izuku and Katsuki was able to meet again. It was emotional for Izuku because aside from being his friend, Katsuki is his savior. His hero. Reuniting with him after so many years is the best thing ever.
Three years had passed and in the span of those years, Katsuki and Izuku developed a much deeper connection aside from being friends. They decided to start dating a year after they reunited. Izuku were able to meet Katsuki's friends and he eventually became friends with them again.
Now, while lying on their bed and being wrapped on his fiance's arms, Izuku smiled. Who would have thought that he will be able to reunite with Katsuki just because of that wrong sent message? Fate or destiny, it makes Izuku wonder sometimes. But nevertheless, this is the most wonderful coincidence ever.
