My body was sprawled on the bed while Clecentine cleaned me up with a towel.
My thighs shuddered when she ran a warm, ringed hand over the soft flesh of my thigh before she kneaded them both and massaged them for two minutes, probably to ease up my shaking which didn't stop even after she retreated her hands.
Her amber eyes lifted to meet my brown ones. Something dark flickered in them momentarily before she walked to the bathroom and minutes later I heard the sound of water gushing out of the tap.
I rested my head on the plush pillow waiting for her to come back. Feeling the bed dip I craned my neck forward to glimpse at her before my head fell back again.
''I have something to discuss.''
Sensing the seriousness in her voice I pushed myself up till I sat on the bed, head against the headboard.
She let a sharp sigh leave her lips before speaking up again, ''There is a really important event coming up. It's another party like the previous one, although I'm pretty sure it felt like an extravagant ball to you.'' I nodded at her truthful words.
''What event?'' I asked curiously, as she looked at the ceiling and then back at me.
She hesitated, lips going in a thin line before she let out a sigh, ''Not an event. My cousin's wedding.''
The way she said the sentence with difficulty and tried not to expose the fact that it was a wedding and not a formal event made me realise how distant she was even from her family.
She stilled for a while, getting up from the bed and walking towards the bathroom and I heard the sound of the gushing water cease. Emerging from the bathroom she took a seat next to me.
''It is a few months later and I need you to accompany me, no matter what. It's a really big deal, whether I like it or not and I'm not going unaccompanied. I got the invitation yesterday.'' Her eyes assessed me before adding, ''It's in Vegas.''
My eyes widened, dress halfway to completely falling off my body, ''Holy hell! Oh my god, Las Vegas. It's so on baby.''
Seeing her unamused expression, parted lips and raised eyebrow I cleared my throat, remembering I was in her presence and needed to behave, ''I'll take a shower.''
With my awkward attempt to get out of this conversation, I scurried to the bathroom, locking it in the process.
