You'll see like it doesn't matter
Tonight, I'll be the happiest girl in the world
You'll see like it never happened

The first snow was supposed to be hopefully romantic to women in their 20's but not to Rosé, in her 25 years. Not after Jaehyun decided to break up with her after three months of secret dating during the autumn. She couldn't help but watch their relationship tear apart as the temperature got colder in December.

All the rumours kept connering them for weeks until things suddenly got calm. None of the photos Rosé had taken with her phone have been leaked, or any of their secret dates in the middle of the night were discovered. So things were back to normal. Empty normal.

It's the middle of winter now, waiting for the most romantic period of all the times: Valentine's Day. Even if it's January yet, the stores are decorated from top to the bottom with hearts, flowers, stuffed bears and a lot of pink things.

Last year, at this same time, her mind was full of ideas to surprise her significant other, really putting all her effort between the breaks of her magazine photoshoot to make the perfect gift in time. It was totally worth it. Jaehyun got mesmerized just by receiving her gift one after another until the end of his work day, when they finally got to meet furtively.

Today, her mindset it's different, "How could this be the symbol of romanticism?" Roseanne rolls her eyes as she fixes her bucket hat to cover her face better, even though she's already using a mask as a disguise to not be recognized in public.

That's when she notices a trio of students are looking at her from the corner of the shelves not knowing she's very good at noticing their cameras pointing at her.

The giggling whisper of them seems to follow another person entering the store, between the shelves it's possible to hear feminine voices talking almost inaudibly about a man who, step after another, gets closer to the section Rosé is.

The guy also hears something quite annoying while he walks through and, curious to know if his suspicion is correct, holding his breath and sneaking peeking over the shelves, he finds the students' eyes following the blonde girl who's next to the Valentine's Day gifts.

Noticing the teenagers are also using their phones, pointing to the woman distracted, it's obvious she's been filming secretly.

Strategically, Rosé gets down casually, pretending to lace her shoes, and hear their voices expressing their surprise at not seeing her features anymore.

Without thinking too much about it, the man watching the scene steps up as she gets down to fix her shoe laces, positioning his body in the middle of the view between the teens and her. That's why the three girls got so upset and exasperated their dissatisfaction.

As Roseanne gets up, she turns her body to the right, getting prepared to leave the convenience store, when a bump happens between them. Her hazel eyes go up to apologize, but she blinks startled when her brain processes the view. It's him.

Jaehyun observes from a short distance her eyes startling as she sees him. There's only one woman he's capable of recognizing just by looking at a pair of eyes. Park Chaeyoung.

"Sorry", she says bowing at him, who is also wearing baggy clothes, a cap and a discreet mask. He hums at her, feeling his knees get weak and trembling, digesting her presence so close to him, and once he steps back, she gets away.

Closing the store door behind her, her feet only manage to step calmly a couple times before a rush electrifies her body, impulsing her legs to start running to her dormitory. Like an athlete, her breath is synchronized with her moves, helping Rosé to run as fast as possible and taking her home in less than seven minutes.
