- How dare you? You can't just come in here and threaten me like that. Me, who works the hardest in this crappy office, toiling for more than ten hours a day, every day, for the prosperity of us all. Me, who hasn't had a day off since I started working here, because even when I get home all I think about is how we can attract new clientele, better marketing strategies. Have you ever worked a day in your life?

His gaze grew even more fierce.

He didn't even care. She'd exposed herself to the biggest humiliation of her life. She was almost ready to drop to her knees in front of him and beg for some compassion and mercy, to not carry out her threats from a moment ago, and he turned his back on her and told her to get out of his office. As if she was the biggest nobody on this planet who deserved nothing but his anger and his nasty attitude.

It smelled very feminine, very pleasant, by no means overpowering. He lost himself in that lovely feminine scent. His gaze softened. Slowly he brought his face close to hers, trying to inhale as much of it as he could. She was all puffy, tears streaming down her sides, trembling, her eyes very red. Quite instinctively he brought his lips to hers, and then, quite unexpectedly, bit her lower lip a little roughly.

Breathing heavily, he parted his lips and whispered:

- You have no idea what you just did...
