Once upon a time, somewhere in France, a young 16-year-old girl lived happily with her parents. They lived next to a forest where the young woman liked to walk and observe all kinds of wild animals that she sometimes managed to approach. Her dog, Pataud, accompanied her everywhere she went, except to high school. She had a boyfriend and a few loyal girlfriends she spent a lot of time with.
One day after a walk in the forest, she stopped in front of the window of her house, a stranger was there and was talking with her parents. The discussion was very strange.

Stéphane (the father): you should never have found us!

Leah (the mother): you will not take it back!

Man: one day you will wake up and she will no longer be your child!

Stéphane: get out of here!!!

Man: I'll be back! The man left the house and Aurore entered.

Aurora: Are you okay?

Stephane: yes why? This ride, how was it?

Aurore: uh...interesting...

Aurore said nothing to her parents about the man who was present in her absence, but she asked herself a lot of questions.

The next day, a Saturday, early in the morning, her parents left for work, they closed the door when they left and Aurore jumped on the sofa to watch a movie.
An hour later someone knocked on the door and Aurore ran to see who it was.
She opened the door a little bit and the person behind pushed her violently.

Aurora: who are you? What are you doing here ?Person: I am a friend of your parents.

Aurore: I don't think so...get out of here immediately...

Person: my name is Nicolas, I was here yesterday.

Pataud ran down the stairs and began to bark at the intruder.

Nicolas: I really know your parents, their names are Stéphane and Leah.

Aurore: do you think that's enough?!

Nicolas: I know you love pies, especially apple pies.

He pulled out of a bag, a box containing an apple pie.

Aurore: I've already seen Snow White, you know. You are a stranger who comes with an apple pie, probably poisoned apples...

Nicolas: let's sit at the table, I'll eat with you if you don't trust.

Aurore: and you will leave?

Nicolas: and I will leave.

Aurore complies and eats a first bite.

Nicholas: see?

Aurora: you were right.Nicolas: could I have a glass of water?

Aurore went to look for him. She returned with two glasses filled with water.

Nicolas: I always drink with ice cubes.

Aurore: I'll bring you all of them right away.

Aurore had her back turned, it was the perfect time for Nicolas to pour sleeping pills into her water. She sits down and drank her glass. A few moments later she fell from her chair, Pataud ran to the door, went through the cat flap and rushed to alert the parents of his mistress who were working 5 minutes away on foot.

Nicolas went around the house to find Aurore's identity papers.
Stéphane and Leah arrived in less than 5 minutes and found their daughter asleep on the ground. The father took a frying pan from the kitchen cabinet and made as little noise as possible while the mother tried to wake her daughter. Nicolas was searching the parents' bedroom and didn't see Stéphane coming up behind him. The father knocked him out and called the police.
Aurore for her part still did not wake up but Stéphane reassured his wife by telling her that she would come back to her in 4 or 5 hours.

When she woke up, Aurore asked a lot of questions and got surprising answers.

Aurora: who was this man? What did he want from me?

Stéphane: it's a crazy man who wanted to kidnap you.

Aurora: and that's it?! Why me ?!

Stéphane: it's your biological father...

Aurora: what?! You tell me like that, how should I take it?!

Leah: you take it as you want but know that your father is the one who raised you and not the one who made you.

Aurora: I'm going for a walk...

It's the end of the story, I don't guarantee the happy ending in each chapter but this story doesn't end too badly.
