It was curfew and all the soldiers were chilling and minding their own businesses. Alex and Ben were playing roblox together, Victor and Fiona were giving their opinions about ninjago(yes, I watch ninjago, might make a ninjago fanfic) and Soldier was reading a horror novel. As he was reading, he noticed that something was off. Thomas never approached him and neither did Robin. He looked around and he didn't see him. He went to Ben and Alex.
Soldier:Hey guys.
Ben and Alex:Wassup?
Soldier:Have you seen Thomas, like at all?
Alex:No actually.
Ben:Haven't seen him since afternoon.
Alex:I ain't too worried about it, he's probably skipping curfew again.
Ben:Hmmm... maybe.
Soldier was still a little suspicious about it but he brushed it off and went back to reading his horror novel.
*Timeskip to morning*
As soon as the alarm rang,all the soldiers were out off their beds and went to the field for Torcher to rolecall them.
Torcher:Good morning everyone!
All soldiers:Good morning sir!
Torcher role called everyone in alphabetical order, when he reached to Thomas, he called out for him but no one answered, he called out again but still no answer.
Torcher:Has anyone seen Thomas?
All of them responded that they last saw him last afternoon.
Soldier's POV:I knew something was off.
Torcher:Did he come for curfew?
All of them said that he didn't come for curfew and said that he also wasn't there in the morning. This made Torcher become worried.
Torcher:Look for him! If you have any clues then come to me!
They all spread out. They searched everywhere and couldn't find him, some tried to call him but there was no answer, Ben and Soldier went to check the security cameras but there wasn't any footage of him.
Ben:Impossible. Thomas had to been on camera.
Soldier:Isn't there someone who checks the security cameras?
Ben:*gasp*Fiona!
Ben dragged Soldier with him and went to look for Fiona. They found her looking for Thomas at the cafeteria.
Soldier:You monitor the security cameras, which shows everything that happens in the outpost, right?
Fiona nervously laughed.
Fiona:Yeah but... I was at the cafeteria, not in the security room.
Ben:Oh my gosh
Fiona:But I did see him here at the cafeteria last afternoon.
Soldier:Do you know where he went from here?
Fiona:I didn't see where he went, sorry.
Ben:*sigh*What now?
Soldier:Let's keep looking, there have to be clues.
*Meanwhile*
Alex went out of the outpost in hopes to find a clue, while she looked, she found Thomas's hat on the floor, she gasped and took it from the floor.
Alex:Thomas was here, but where is he now? I need to tell Torcher.
Alex went back to the outpost to inform Torcher about the clue she found.
She found Torcher trying to call Thomas's phone but no one answered.
Alex:Sir I found his hat.
Alex gave it to Torcher.
Torcher:Where did you find it?
Alex:I found it outside the outpost, by it's right side. This is all I could find.
Torcher:He has to be around here somewhere, keep looking.
Alex:Okay.
