"Ok, Connie isn't here," Becky said, "so you can start by taking the chairs off the tables. Put four on each side, except around the pillars. Then wash down the tables. The bucket is over there, ready for use."
We set to work, pulling down chairs and unfolding them, placing them where they belong. We then washed off the tables with warm soapy water and washcloths.
"Ok, we need to sort out the bags for the people to take home. We put ten bags in a box, and each bag gets on can of pasta, one can of tuna, on bottle of juice, and one bag of Ramen noodles." said Heather.
We each took a bag, going down the table and packing up the items. When we had gathered all the items for one bag, we would tie the bag shut and put them in a box, which my mom was monitoring to make sure that there was ten in each box. We finished packing bags, with a total of seventy, and waited for our next instruction.
