The father and son duo made it back to their home safely. But the tension between the two was still thick in the air as Atreus was still saddened about his fathers words before. He went and sat on his bed still looking at the ground.

"It's not fair." Atreus quietly muttered, still not quite over his fathers decision.

Kratos silently approached his son.

"He doesn't know anything..." he continued.

"You lost control." Kratos told him flatly.

"That thing was trying to kill us." Atreus told him hastly. "It's not like you don't get angry in a fight."

Kratos shock his head in frustration. "Anger can be a weapon if you control it-use it." He told him hotly. "You clearly cannot, when you lose..."

Atreus interupted his father. "I haven't been sick in a long time. I'm better now."

Kratos sighed. "Fine." He told him softly, he then got down on one knee so that he was at the same height as his son.

"Come on then." He raised his hands.

"You want me to hit you?" Atreus asked, confused.

"I want you to try." He replied hastly.

Atreus sighed and then threw a lame punch towards his father, which he quickly smacked away.

"OWWW! What are you-?" Atreus cried out.

"Try again." Kratos told him calmly.

"Why are you doing that." Atreus exclaimed, failing to hit another punch.

"Too slow." Kratos told him. "Try again."

Atreus threw another punch this time with more force, but yet again Kratos simply smacked it away.

"Cut it out!" Atreus was getting frustrated.

"Weak. Again."

This angered Atreus who tried again with even more force, but failing all the same.

"Again."

"STOP IT!" Atreus screamed at his father, throwing another punch towards his father, this time it caused him to lose his balance and fall to the ground, coughing as he did.

Kratos immediately pulled up his son from the ground.

"Your anger... you can get lost in it." Atreus clearly sick of his fathers treatment tried to yank away his arm only to be pulled back. "The path ahed is difficult, and you, Atreus, are clearly not ready."

Suddenly the hut began to shake, something was passing over them.

"What was that?" Atreus asked looking towards the ceiling.

"Quiet!" Kratos told him while also scanning the ceiling.

They heard a loud thump and a roar of some form though none of them recognize the animal responsible.

Then something even stranger happened, someone was knocking on their door.

"Come on out!" A voice called. "It's no use hiding anymore."
