"For the last time, this apple couldn't possibly be rotten. I just picked these this morning!" the Shopkeeper yelled. It was early in the morning and some darned girl just decided to get picky over an apple.

"Well, I beg to differ! I bit into it, it was soft and it had some.. green gunk in it. It was disgusting!" she said snapping back.

"Honestly, I don't have time for this you are causing a scene. Just take these apples on the house and leave!"

"Fine." she huffed while snatching the apples. Honestly, the apple was never rotten. She just wanted extra, for what reason? Only she knows.

"What a fool.." tossing an apple in the air and catching it. Taking a bite into her apple and savoring the sweet, crisp flavor. "Oh, how I love these apples!"  Savoring it a little too much, she knocks into someone.

"Ugh.. watch where your going dimwit!" she yelled.

A lady who looked around her age with strange white hair was on the floor infront of her, sliently rubbing her head. For some strange reason, she had bright ruby eyes and round ears. She looked not human, but strange.

"Hey! Are you going to apologize orr...??"

"Oh, my apologies. But then again you should be apologizing. I was watching where I was going you weren't walking straight" she said while standing up and brushing her clothes off and picking her stuff up.

"Uh, excuse me?! I was just fine."

"No. You weren't."

She extended her hand out towards the girl offering her assistance. Hesitantly, she takes it also standing up.

"Sorry for bumping into you, I g-"

"RHEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" a girl came knocking Rhealyn down again.

"Sorry!! .. I couldn't catch up with you... I had to... *cough* deal with something!" she spoke, clearly out of breath. Practically on the floor trying to slow down her breathing.

"It's fine Stella." Rhealyn said calmly.

"Wait just one second, I've heard these names before. Rhealyn and... Stella..?? WAIT THE POWERFUL PEOPLE PERSONS??" she shouted.

"Powerful, people.. persons? I think you mean majors." Stella replied.

"Yeah, whatever."

"Uh yes, that's us? We are on patrol right now. Heard about suspiscious activity."

"Well, while you guys have that conversation I have that suspiscious activity to look up for. Bye." Rhealyn said while hopping on what looked like a stick and flying off.

"Rhea I just caught up to you- are you serious??" Stella said shouting but the girl was too far away already to hear.

"What's her deal?"

"Ehh... she's not much of a talker.. y'know??"

"She's a weirdo, what's with the ears and the hair?"

"I don't know actually, I asked her once she couldn't answer all she said was I don't know. Oh, what's your name anyways?" Stella asked.

"Aravaine.. but just call me Vae."

"Nice name! Anyways, I have to go catch up to her again. I just caught my breath too!"

"Okay.. well uh bye?" Vae said.

"See ya around!" Stella said waving before taking off in the direction Rhea went in.

Sighing, Vae continued her walk home. It wasn't that long but the walk still could be tiresome. She never expected to meet people who didn't storm away. This is the first , in a very long time she was excited to see people again.

She unlocked the door to her home, it wasn't big but it also wasn't small. Aravaine lived alone after her parents died due to hunters long ago. She was only a baby then so she didn't remember much but it still made her heart ache anytime she thought about it.

Walking to the kitchen she threw the bag of apples in the fridge, that would suffice as food for a little while. She sat down at the table and recalled the events from today until her thoughts interrupted, when somebody knocked on her door.

"Who is.. it?" Looking around there was nobody in sight. Only something. Looking down there was a letter with her name on it.

"Hello?? Whoever left this I want you to know you are absolutely creepy and I hope you realize that!" Bending down and taking the letter she closes the door and sits at her table.

"What the hell. Okay, this is creepy and weird." carefully opening the letter and emptying it out. Inside was a ring, train ticket and a note. The note read..
