The day always starts the same, with a bright sunny morning with a spattering of clouds and deep blue skies.

It also starts with a fuchsia pink-haired girl talking to her friend, a boy with fluffy ginger hair that flips up at the sides. They're both walking to class, and she's talking to him about anything she can think up.

And it always ends the same way, with the girl on the ground, bleeding out of every possible orifice. And the boy trying to keep her from bleeding out all over the earth and failing.

It continues like this for decades, centuries even.

The boy continues to watch the girl die the same way for years, yet he does nothing to stop it.

It's not by his choice. Every time he tries to stop something, anything, the loop resets, and the girl dies all over again, mutilated and distorted.

That is, until the day he finally succeeded.

He finally pushed the girl out of the way. But at the cost of his own life.

As he lay dying on the same ground she did so many times, he looked at her and smiled, not seeing the tears streaming down her face like a waterfall.

But it was all for naught in the end. The boy and the girl woke up again on the same day that plagued them for so long.

end.
