Darkness is all I see. I can hear a triumph of noise going on outside of the darkness. I can taste something that tastes like copper. I can feel something pushed against my mouth with great pressure. As far as seeing goes, I can't see a thing.

~

I've been sitting in darkness for what seems like days. Even though I know it's only been a couple hours.
I can feel my sleep getting lighter like I'm about to wake up. Like when you hear your alarm in your dream.

I could feel my blood turn cold. I couldn't feel my heart beating anymore. I'm still breathing, but barely. It's almost as if I don't need it
But yet as if that's the only thing I need.

My eyes are starting to open. I can see the light of my bedroom. I'm starting to open them fully. I gasp as I sit up.
Everything feels different. Everything is more clear. I can see the writing on my moms necklace from across the room.

That's when I notice my parents. They're in my room. They're sitting across the room in chairs they brought up. They're asleep, my mom resting her head on my dads shoulder. What did they do to me?

My mouth, it feels different. I licked my teeth only to find that two of my teeth are different. They're sharp. Like a vampire. They turned me into, a vampire.

I always knew something was different about this family. I could never put my finger on it. Now that I know it all makes since. I have to leave. Far away.
I open my window as quite as possible and climbed down the tree that was right beside it. Off to nowhere.

SOPHIA POV

I'm currently watching T.V. I'm watching a show about urban legends on Netflix. Which probably isn't good since I'll be home alone for a week while my parents are on vacation. I hear the doorbell, so I'm making my way to the door. When I open it, a limp girl falls into my arms.
She's beautiful, and very,very pale.

I lay her on the couch and check for a pulse. There isn't one. I check to see if she's breathing, and the strange thing is, she's breathing? How is that possible?

~

I've been waiting for twenty minutes now and this mysterious girl that showed up at my door still hasn't woke up.

She's starting to wake but she's starting to scare me with her low grumbles.
She springs up from the couch and I can see her eyes are red. My eyes widened and I'm slowly backing up. She leaps at me and now I'm pinned to the ground.
Her teeth dig into my neck and I scream but eventually I get tired, very, very tired, and I find myself drifting off to sleep.

When I wake up the dangerous girl is staring at me with worried eyes. She's pulling my hair out of my face. When realize what she had just done to me I screamed and backed up, even though I knew she was faster.

"Hey, no it's okay" she said with her face full with apology.
A tear runs down from my face because of how scared I am. She reaches to wipe it away and I flinch. "Hey, no, no don't flinch, it's gonna be ok" she said.

She leaned in to hug me and for some reason I hugged back. She was cold, very cold. Her hair, smelt like blood. Probably mine. The weird thing was, she had bite marks on her neck that looked pretty fresh. I pulled back from the hug and put her hair behind her neck and gave her a questionable look.

She stared at me for a second. Suddenly I wasn't scared anymore.
Her eyes were no longer red, but a beautiful green that almost hypnotizes you. She stood up ignoring my stare.
"I better get going, I'm so, so sorry about tonight. I know it was scary." She said looking down as if she honestly knew.

"Please stay" I found myself saying.
It was weird she almost killed me but yet I think I like her. This vampire girl, I think I have a crush on her. I want to help her. "Stay" I said almost as an order. "I can't" she said.

"I don't," I paused "I don't even know your name"

"Lauren" she said smiling.

I got up with as much strength as I had and walked over to her.
I took her hands and stared into her eyes. "I'm not afraid of you, ya know."
I said confidently.
"What's your name?" She said changing the subject. "Sophia" I said.

Something glimmered in her eyes.
"Well Sophia," she said coming closer to me. I didn't dare back up. "I guess you'll be ok if I do this then" before I could say anything she leaned in and kissed me. It was passionate. Even though I just met her, there's something incredible between us that I can't describe.

LAUREN'S POV

I just kissed Sophia. Do I regret it? No.
She's the most beautiful thing that I've ever seen in my life.

My feelings, ever since I've become, this monster has been, well, stronger.
My emotions are out of Wack. It's weird. So when I had the urge to kiss her, I couldn't stop myself.
